Is it true that is it harder to get the car to hook with the race springs because they are stiffer than the sport springs?

I have also heard this about the Race Springs. Can they really affect traction? Also, I am getting ready to order a set of springs for my car but I am not really looking for anything crazy, maybe just a little lower without scraping on things and I want the car to be level. Race Spring with all stock Iso's in front and the rear upper Iso's removed sound good?

Around 3/4 of a coil up front and 1 coil in the rear:

Great pictures, and the whole package looks perfect.

Here is mine. I cut 1/2 all around and then wanted it lower and I don't have a compressor to cut them. I removed front Top ISO, and both Rears.

This is my old set of cut coupe springs. I replace them with another set with barely anything cut off. (sorry no pics). Just enough to even out the gap around the tires. I was scrapping my exhaust way too much. I just spent a ton of time fabricating a full custom exhaust that is quieter than stock and did not want to ruin it.

1/2 coil cut on all 4 corners and top front iso's removed. My only complaint since cutting is that the stock springs are pretty soft and there a couple dips on my daily commute that I can rub the tires on if Im going too fast. Thinking about getting some aftermarket springs so I can go a little lower

+1 springs are only around 250 and you can get a used set for less than that.

True, but two things I have to add:

1. Show me an aftermarket spring that will sit like my car with the ISO's right out of the box. Most guys will remove ISO's to accomplish the look desired.

2. If ride quality is not sacrificed, the spring is linear rated and not affected by the trim, what is the difference?

They think its ghetto. Who cares, I love being in the wrong :bored:

Plus no aftermarket spring will ride like the stock springs do. They are too harsh for my tastes

PERFECT STANCE !!!!! im sold on 1/2 coil out back. I did 1 coil all the way around on my vert and hate the loss of the "raked" look....another set of stock rear springs are on the way from cali and 1/2 coil will be cut only.
