I have some videos, but they are fairly boring and did not capture the sound of the exhaust like I thought they would. Plus, I left the windows cracked which drowned the sound out some.

Clip of the engine starting (7.46 MB):
Mach1KooksHeaders01.AVI

Clip of partial acceleration (6.07 MB, boring):
Mach1KooksHeaders02.AVI

Clip of WOT acceleration (8.86 MB, a little more exciting):
Mach1KooksHeaders03.AVI

At some point, I will have a good sound clip that does this exhaust system the justice it deserves.

Heh... I'm glad I had a shop do my longtubes for me. What a pain in the ass (especially without the luxury of a lift).

The combination of doing headers on these cars for the first time without a lift would be a real ball buster.

I have Sprint Performance springs all around, and am running Maximum Motorsports adjustable LCA's in the rear. The Nitto NT01 tires are 315/35/17's. Up front, the NT01's are 275/45/17, which is definitely more than I need but I like the look.

So I tried to make a more decent sound clip of the Kooks exhaust system, but I probably failed again. A worthy clip will just have to wait until I get my hands on a real video camera and have some additional help. The day will come, but it's a long way out.

:)

Outside clip of exhaust note (20.6 MB, possibly funny but likely not worth the size):

What's with the random pics of the Missoula beer?

BTW Trout Slayer is better.

Random?! That is an important picture. I will definitely see if I can get some Trout Slayer. The name rocks.

Your undercarrige is so clean - I want to eat off the transmission its so clean.

It isn't clean through any effort of my own, other than not driving the car.

So... where's the catbacks at.
In this day and age that is just unethical.
High flow ones aren't that expensive.

I suffer a 2006 Toyota Corolla back and forth to work every single day! While the Mach1 sees less than 5000 miles a year, the unethical drawback of no catalytic converters is more than made up for. Anyone who disagrees does not know how frustrating it can be to drive a Corolla.
