If I was going to shoot specifically for HDR with a canon digital rebel XT, what would be the method you recommend for the best results? Raw or multiple exposures (how many)? photoshop CS3 or photomatix?

HDR is VERY hard to get right. Here's my best attempt after almost a year of trying...

These are my first attempts at HDR. These were actually some of the first shots I have ever taken with a DSLR. I only borrowed it to try these out.

the whole point of this thread is for TRUE HDR photos, not fake photoshop ones.
