Seems like every other thread is about "My new PB with my A6!!" I'm a huge fan of the auto's but would like to see more threads on PB's with MT82's. So post them up!

All of the qtr mile strips near me are closed for the year, which sucks because the weather is perfect now. I've only made 1 trip to the strip and ran a bunch of 11.8's at 120mph with 1.7's, on an email tune, Kooks exhaust, JLT intake, set of Welds. My tune has since been revised and I installed a bmr k-member, A-arms, chassis brace, and radiator support, hoping for 11.5's next time out. Seems like mid 11's is where you start to get some respect, haha!

10.6 @ 135 on pump with 8.5 lbs boost @ 3,800 lbs. I need to mount these slicks and give it a good 'ol sidestep to get where I wanna be :D

EDIT: clutch line, amsoil fluid, barton shifter and bracket is all the mods. Amazingly, this thing is as quiet as a church mouse. Shifts great still. Actually, kinda seems like it's getting easier...

^well that set the bar pretty high, haha! What rear gear and clutch?

3.31 and stock clutch with a 275/60-15 Hoosier radial. I think with a slick I can get out of the 1.7 60's. I don't wanna kill the rear with a hard launch on radials. Gotta ditch this two piece DS too

There are a few other MT-82 cars on here quicker I believe.

I'll be shooting for a low 10 this spring.

PB is a 10.8 @ 132 w/ a 1.67 60'. That was on a MT et pro.

Changes are gonna be: one piece DS, Mcleod RXT, OTA pipes, stiff walled slick, and e85.

Current mods: TVS (82mm pulley), stock clutch, MGW, BMR springs, and strange 10-ways.

Gonna hit OSW tomorrow night with buddy Mikes On3 GT and another 14' GT M6 with full bolt ons and ET Pro's out back. Whats a good RPM to launch at so nothing breaks but so it wont bog down?

My best 60' was launching at 4k and slipping the clutch.

Are you guys driving to the strip on your et pro's?

I did. They ride fine at highway speeds. Beware though, MT has a "not intended for highway use" warning on the tire.

In for mt82 results.

I'm going FI in a few weeks and am worried about having to shift into 5th to get 130+ mph as my car is a 3.73 car.

Great link thank you. Looks like 3.31s it is. They will take me to 141 mph at 7400 rpm.

Sucks tho... I love how the car drives with 3.73s.

You're not going to hit 130 with 3.73's and 28" or smaller tire. 125-126 max if you run it out to 74-7500

Wish I was in So cal, because I would trade you my 3.31 axle for your 3.73. Unless your coming to UT anytime soon.

So where is everyone launching at with a mcleod RXT? Mine goes in this sunday. What is the fastest way to break in this clutch? I wanna go to the track and launch on my weld/hoosier qtp slicks and see if i can lift a front wheel off the ground, lol

McLeod says 1000 miles. But not highway driving, more so stop and go.
