Lol nah just pain in ass . I used an exacto knife , but sanding is worse cause they are almost kind of rubbery , hard to sand .

Yeah 03sm I saw yours I think few weeks ago so didn't wanna copy completely lol , I bought extra set to do it to mite try something diff with my old ones , I didn't wanna have to sand that tiny space that's y cut 2 left 2
Looks good.maybe a little to much like a floor register for me.but im in the hvac business & see vents like this every day!
I agree bout the floor register I do same kinda work but just trying to make them look Lil better , for just labor can't beat it

I did mine like this a few months ago, nobody even notices really besides me. Sanding them down was a pain in the ass because they are kinda soft like others have said. Painted them with some flat black and they look pretty good on my Mystichrome:beer:
