When did you peg your MAF?

Going to head to a dyno this Saturday just to make a couple pulls, mainly to see where my MAF is at... Mods as follows
K&N FIPK II
Bassani Catted X
Bassani Catback
2.76 Pulley
Billetflow Idlers/Snub
Diablosport

From checking around it seems like I might be right at the limit. I have a BBK Twin 65 TB I was considering bolting on, but if I'm already at the limit that would only be worse. Just wondering how many of you did peg the MAF with similar mods...

i pegged mine with 2.8 upper ported blower and slp catback car made 483hp 568tq pegged at 5400

A lot of guys peg the maf. Better to be safe and upgrade the maf or use an extender.

I was very close with a 2.76 upper with a non-ported eaton and pegged it with a ported blower and 2.76 upper.

Mine Pegged with 2.76, exhaust, inlet, SBTB only @ night in the winter of AZ.

Been awhile, but mine pegged with a 2.90 upper and ported Eaton.

mine came REAL close to pegging in the upper rpms with 2.8 upper, JLT RAI, steeda cat-back, and bama tune.

Excellent thread idea, I wish more guys were aware of this potentially disastrous WOT cold air lean out issue.

A pegged MAF can be anywhere from 470 rwhp to 490.

Fuel pumps can max duty cycle between 480 and 510 from what I have seen.

Injectors will typically max duty cycle at approximately 530rwhp

Agreed, just sucks it's gotta be tuned just for that. If i'm ok as I sit then I'll leave it be, while I decide if I want to chase the 550 torque mark with the ported blower...
Do any/all of the good name tuners like Jon Lund/Amazon etc do tunes for Diablo? Seems like most around this forum use the SCT, but my car came with the DS...

I am not sure about Jon Lund but Amazon does both SCT and Diablo tunes.

Yup, my maf and pumps are close as hell. I have to watch it when it cools down, even down here.

Sct is the way to go. I also use a Sct maf.

Well, it pegged at about 6k as expected. Air was very cool and dense today, probably amplifying the issue, but it did indeed peg. So for guys with similar mods, check yours!!!

Mine was close with a 2.93 upper, so I felt it better to be safe and installed a MAFia
