If you're going to be on a 91-octane tune, '500' is going to be iffy, but the 2-lb. is going to help. I'm forecasting 495/495 with a good tune. Post up your numbers after the tune. ;)

Bumping this thread
Car currently has a JLT highboost CAI (Gen 2) SLP high flow cats X pipe, with a borla Atak catback, currently bought 60# injectors, a ported eaton with a 2.76 upper (Dont know the port). Also have an accufab plenum. looking into buying a BAP, as well as a 2# lower, an a ported TB. An a BA3000.
Shooting for high numbers, def wanting 500+hp an 490+tq. I'll be happy with 490+ on both. Not to sure what else I can do to make sure I hit my numbers without E85, Cams an LT's. Not sure on who is going to tune this beast.

I would say try Adam over at spankin time but he's so busy now that I'm having trouble getting even my pulley put on the car. Good news though is that there's a E-85 station literally 1/8th of a mile from there. If you ever want better flowing mufflers I'll trade you my stingers lol.

Well i'm thinking heavy on it but i'm worried about heatsoak issues. I'm hoping for high 4's or low 5's, guess i'm hopeful lol

Only thing that sucks about ATAK's is they don't really flow to well. Since they are designed to just amplify the sound it causes a restriction in the exhaust. If you ever look inside of them they use a strange baffle system. They don't even have packing in them like the stingers do.

What's the consensus on having a ported blower with 2.76/4 lb or 2.93/4lb? I've seen some say having the 2.76 upper over spins the blower and some say it's the best combo.

Anytime you see more tq than hp with the eaton, your overspinning the blower. Upper only they run fine. Even some aggressive combos still run ok. when people start doing a 2.76 upper with a 4 or 6lb lower, I just laugh. These cars have been out for 14 years and people still go wild with that combo. IMO your top end suffers, that blower is screaming and your just creating tons and tons of heat. On the street, I would not recommend that setup. 2.93 4lb lower or a 2.80 2lb lower are perfect. There both similar in boost.

I see a few that are running stage 2 and 3 cams with their ported eaton. How do you like the setup and does it work well together with the eaton? I have read various opinions on ported and cams. I actually like the idea of retaining the factory blower, crazy I know
