Started color sanding today. Buffed the front passenger fender to get an idea how it’s going to look. I’m throughly satisfied so far

Hell yeah man that looks great.

Where did you/they get the paint and how much paint did they actually end up using?

Thank you! I’m really happy with how it turned out.

I got the paint from a local BASF supplier about 2 years ago. I bought a gallon. It mixes 2:1, so you end up with 1-1/2 gallons. There was about a quart left over initially.

I had some extra pieces done; export mirrors and authentic Saleen 281 spoiler. Should have about a pint left when it’s all said and done.

The base coat is really important, because the Mystic is thin. It lays down really nice and shows well after just a coat or 2 if the base is good. We put 3 coats of Mystic and 5-6 layers of clear.

^ Definitely bottom.... Just simply beautiful. Love a clean SN95 (which is rare nowadays).

Have specs on the XXR-531s? (offset)

Working on dialing in the Mystic exterior.

Replaced the window gaskets. The windshield cracked during removal so he replaced it for $50. Fresh glass looks great!

Need to order the interior gaskets that go around the top of the windows.

Lights:

Went with the stock Amber corners, Envoy fogs and LED’s.

Wasn’t sure if LED or Stock, so I installed one side of each to help decide

Painted the interior trim. Planned on using gloss like I used on the blue car, SLOW2V, but Melissa, my fiancé, said the gloss looked cheap. Took her advice and added a matte finish clear coat. Couldn’t be happier, but don’t tell her I said that!

Some early SN95’s had perforated inserts in the doors. Found a drivers door trim, but the passenger side was trashed. I’ll find one, but in the meantime I’m going to refinish this one. I’m thinking the perforated vinyl and door cups will look good with a gloss finish to contrast the rest of the interior

Wow, great progress! Amazing. I love Mystic's being brought back to life! You're doing it right. Anyway...

In the picture of the stock and LED headlights it looks like the stock had a better beam on the ground. Unless it was just the picture or the driver's side wasn't aimed for the picture.

That's a great detail in the early door panels. I never knew that.

Ever think of using the New Edge shifter bezel and double din radio bezel and painting them with your leftover Mystic paint?
