Really I thought it came with a similar inlet to the 2.3....Look at the pics in another thread there is nothing big about it. Look at the Crusher inlet for hte 3.4 and there is not option to upgrade to a crusher inlet...for the 2.9.

I agree...in order for the SC to outperform the 2.8H mamoth it is going to need a less restrictive inlet.

dont quote me but I think the crusher inlet comes on the 2.9 blower.. It's huge !!!

We did an install on an 08 Gt 500 and it def. had the crusher inlet...again on the 03-04 cobra's I have no clue

It doesn't need one.

Crusher/Mammoth intakes are over rated. Marketing ploy gimmic at it's best IMO.

Subbed. Going to hold my breath till i see mulitple numbers! Was looking to add a baby Direct shot but this seems interesting *i guess*. If Nothing by mid Jan I be out like a few others.

i would of thought for sure that with all the 03-04 owners who wanted this blower to be developed, Whipple would of did at least 1 shop car showing the power gains from a car that took off a 2.3 and installed the 2.9.

but then again there is a lot of hype around this blower right now

hopefully,its not just hype and there is a significant gain on the 2.9 vs. the 2.3...

there not being any say from whipple kinda pushes the "just hype" theory.. someone prove this wrong!!!
