I would be down for a "mustang" one, what's with the 03/04 cobra guy's wanting "terminator" on theirs? first that's super gay, and 2nd, you already have one of the baddest mustangs ever produced, why not let some of us guys with GT's and Mach1's get a sick looking bumper without being a poser? you guys already have the bumper lol

I just gave up and found a local Terminator rear bumper for 150, and it's currently in the shop getting shaved, then maybe i'll post some pics

How much is the body shop charging to shave and paint the bumper?

About 300 or so. We're good friends with the owner, and they're using a unique bumper repair compound that flexes like plastic to fill in letters and sidemarkers.

So a regular customer would pay more I assume. Having a local shop do the work would certainly get it done quicker, but it is possible that the labor to properly fill in the letters/side-markers and repaint the bumper could exceed $400. And you would also want to be absolutely certain that the work is done right. Sounds like your shop is one of those who will do it right. Definitely post photos after the work is done.
