Sounds like a lot of dudes blowing dudes in here.
Yeah because showing respect is gay right?oke:

That Army thing was clearly edited. My Air Force basic was closer to the Marine one shown here.......
cool, when did you go through?
Funny when I was in I was getting tired of Army dudes saying they should have joined the Marines. :mj:
Dang bro- it's not that serious. We're all on the same team right? Sheesh:rollseyes
Yes we are all on the same team and I've always felt that way. Each branch of service is important and each job regardless of what it is important. But based on 90% of the marines I have ever talked to you wouldn't think so. Who started this thread again? Oh yea....... Why am I even wasting my time.
i'm in the navy...lol navy
i should've joined the air force. nice chairs, no ships, better day to day life. ahhh, a guy can dream.
I know for a fact that Marines that are trained on FA are held to a higher standard. If it takes a Soldier a 70% to pass a written test the Marine standard is 80%.
That video was clearly biased. WTF ever though. It gets really frustrating talking to Marines. I don't even bother anymore.
Just noticed your location. Are you an FA instructor?
I was. Now I work in the G staff. I have spent a lot of time over on the training side in various positions. I don't mind but I deploy-Sill-deploy-Sill and so on. It keeps my family stabilized. I take it you are FA.
Being I have served in both the Marines and Army and as a Drill Sergeant at Fort LeonardWood that is depicted in the video, that is 100% accurate. Army BCT has changed a lot and went through a major change around 2005.
Some of the stuff I saw at FLW as a hat disgusted me and seeing some of those shitbirds graduate that had no business graduating what so ever! But hey, each branch has their own mission and business is done differently for the desired affect for each.
Yes, sir.
I'm hoping I can do that with Bliss. Bliss-deploy-Bliss-CCC-Bliss. lol
Yea. I was an OSUT Commander then. Go to the first page and read the post I wrote. Also, back then I saw a DS get investigated for "TAPPING" not "Hitting" a Soldier on the kevlar on a BRM range with his paddle because the Soldier did not keep his weapon up and down range. The DS was eventually RTD but the fact that his actions were even questioned was amazing. BTW it was the BN CSM who witnessed this and he was an ex DS!!!!!
When are you anticipating CCC? It's great to see another redleg here.
I was scheduled to attend CCC next summer, that assignment was deleted for a 9 month detour.
