or lawyers bringing frivolous lawsuits to court.

Truly frivolous suits shouldnt make it past filing. Most states have an ethical rule for lawyers about not bring cases they dont feel are meritorious. However, as stated many times, every profession has it bad apples but that does not mean you indict the entire profession.

Just so I have this right.

Bashing an LEO is not permitted. However, it is OK for you to post in what reads as a condescending manner, calling him a "newbie" and an "idiot" and going further to berate him over his supposed "uneducated opinion."

So based on this, bashing an LEO is not permitted, but an LEO bashing a non-LEO is OK?

Got it.

How about you read the rules and understand the forum before you take up arms and get so offended.

I'm not "hiding" anything from my story, nor was I driving the cobra at the time. I was ticked off because the reason they gave for pulling me over was blatantly untrue. Honesty goes a long way in my book. I completely understand how it might have appeared suspicious for me to be driving through the area at that time and that they were just doing their jobs. But why lie? That's my point.

And so I have no "street smarts" because I got lost one night in an unfamiliar neighborhood? Riiight.

And for the anti-dentite, I'm sorry to hear of your bad experience with a dentist. Good health care is expensive. The great thing is that most of the common tooth-related pathologies are 100% preventable. Brush, floss, rinse.

I guess I need to take back the book smarts as well:nonono: If you believe that getting lost one night in an unfamiliar neighborhood is the reason why you lack street smarts- well then what I stated has fallen on deaf ears:poke:

Man, this thread went south quick. Here is what I have learned....Officers always have the last word and are always right. I've had one even tell me that I am going the wrong way to my house. I have noticed a lot of law enforcement pull over less threating people as yourself and let the "hood rats" smoking weed in the other car just drive on by. I dont know if it's the coward in them or just not wanting to deal with the paper work.

Do I lose respect for all officers?...No. Plenty of good ones out there.

BTW, Internet bullying doesnt make you look "cooler". Everyone has their own opinion.

OP you were a suspicious vehicle given the time and the location. You were pulled over for being suspicious, and the stop sign was an excuse. Get over it, nobody to blame but yourself. You even got away from it. I was pulled over at 4 am in the morning before in a neighborhood. I was polite and cooperative, and it was a quick and easy stop.

Everyone seems to cry over anything nowadays..

I read the rules and saw that flaming isn't allowed outside of SmackDown. So unless calling somebody an idiot isn't flaming, then you need to read the rules and understand as well.

If calling somebody an idiot ISN'T flaming, then you are an idiot. Let's see how well this goes over. -_-

Wow, really? How does he know that htis guy is not threatening at 4am in the hood as he is driving by? Explain that one to me. And the "hood rats" commonly get caught in those kinds of areas at those times of the 24 hour time cycle we call a day. Think before you post please.

Is it legal or not to pull someone over "just to check"? If it is legal, there was no reason for the officer to lie about the stop. Why not just say "Just checking you out, your in a bad neighborhood in the middle of the night".

Not saying that he is NOT threating, but why pull over the less threating car? It's call stereotyping and it works 90% of the time. And I said what "I've" noticed....do I live in that area?...No. I could be talking about a nice neighborhood for all you know. So I did think and it's a matter of opinion. Don't get butt hurt over it.

In all my years of law enforcement Ive never encountered a threating (sic) or even threatening car.

Well how do you know he was the less threatening car? How do you know there were even any other cars around. You're making ASSumptions on something that you don't have first hand knowledge of. And Im not butthurt at all. Trust me, I am very thick skinned, and don't get bothered my e-idiots. And it really doesn't matter what kind of neighborhood you "might" have been talking about, you didn't specify in that post. If you were talking about a nice neighborhood, then why would an LEO "sterotype" and pull the "less threatening" car over? Again think before you post please.

Every thread in this section you come in and defend cops no matter what they do. You think they are always right and doing the right thing no matter what. It gets old.

OP- You did nothing wrong, and should not be stopped for something you obviously didn't do.

An idiot is described as a foolish or senseless person. Your above blanket statement about me and my posts certainly puts you in that category. Maybe you should refrain from making generalizations without actual fact to back them up.

Butterybunz: Being you are new here, you don't know that (fordsvtfan) is the boss. And he will tell you if you don't know! I do agree with most he says! That being said, I'm a mod at another forum and don't call members names at all! To each his own, I guess.

You do not know he is the less threatening car, but can you make an assumption based off statistics from prior experience. Like I said it is based off what I have seen. And you're being hypocritical ASSuming I don't know first hand. I mean do we really have to break out commissions cards to not be an e-idiot. And I do not know why a LEO would pull over the "less threatening" car.....THAT's the point I was trying to make.

Im not making any assumptions...you are. If you were not there in the car with the OP when it happened, then, NO, you do not have first hand knowlegde, therefore, you ARE making assumptions. And what makes one car more/less threatening than another? Let's see how you answer that. Please think it through before you post it.

Haha, this is fun . Yes, but educated assumptions. I thought you were assuming I had no first hand knowledge in LE. And what makes one car more threatening than the other.....drum roll......scanning plates. Oh, and the "**** the popo" stickers.
