Truly frivolous suits shouldnt make it past filing. Most states have an ethical rule for lawyers about not bring cases they dont feel are meritorious. However, as stated many times, every profession has it bad apples but that does not mean you indict the entire profession.
How about you read the rules and understand the forum before you take up arms and get so offended.

Man, this thread went south quick. Here is what I have learned....Officers always have the last word and are always right. I've had one even tell me that I am going the wrong way to my house. I have noticed a lot of law enforcement pull over less threating people as yourself and let the "hood rats" smoking weed in the other car just drive on by. I dont know if it's the coward in them or just not wanting to deal with the paper work.
Do I lose respect for all officers?...No. Plenty of good ones out there.

OP you were a suspicious vehicle given the time and the location. You were pulled over for being suspicious, and the stop sign was an excuse. Get over it, nobody to blame but yourself. You even got away from it. I was pulled over at 4 am in the morning before in a neighborhood. I was polite and cooperative, and it was a quick and easy stop.

I read the rules and saw that flaming isn't allowed outside of SmackDown. So unless calling somebody an idiot isn't flaming, then you need to read the rules and understand as well.

Wow, really? How does he know that htis guy is not threatening at 4am in the hood as he is driving by? Explain that one to me. And the "hood rats" commonly get caught in those kinds of areas at those times of the 24 hour time cycle we call a day. Think before you post please.
Is it legal or not to pull someone over "just to check"? If it is legal, there was no reason for the officer to lie about the stop. Why not just say "Just checking you out, your in a bad neighborhood in the middle of the night".
Not saying that he is NOT threating, but why pull over the less threating car? It's call stereotyping and it works 90% of the time. And I said what "I've" noticed....do I live in that area?...No. I could be talking about a nice neighborhood for all you know. So I did think and it's a matter of opinion. Don't get butt hurt over it.

And you're being hypocritical ASSuming I don't know first hand. I mean do we really have to break out commissions cards to not be an e-idiot. And I do not know why a LEO would pull over the "less threatening" car.....THAT's the point I was trying to make.
Im not making any assumptions...you are. If you were not there in the car with the OP when it happened, then, NO, you do not have first hand knowlegde, therefore, you ARE making assumptions. And what makes one car more/less threatening than another? Let's see how you answer that. Please think it through before you post it.
