To be honest it's sad that with all the horsepower the srt8's have that they are still in the same league as bolt on Mach's.

Ugh no, low 13's out of the new 5.7 R/T's is the norm. I still LOL at the fact that my 4000+lb "Boat" on 22's and street tires with a tune/intake is making stang owners get all defensive. I dont talk it I run it any kill I claim I can get on video or have it on video. Some of you need to hit the strip more often. Ive lined up with about 10 5.0's in the last month all ranging from stock to modded. When I beat the stock 5.0's (autos, manuals, 3.31's and 3.73 cars) they aren't surprised at all because they actually race at the strip and not on the internet....

Ill be honest there are a shit ton of SRT8 owners who make us look bad by running 14's but if you can do simple math you should know a 4000lb car with 425hp (been proven to be closer to 450) can run better then a 14......
its not going anywhere lol. Me and OP are cool if you guys want I can put the stock tune on and put the factory intake back on and run him for comparison.

See the difference is that all you have to do is mash the go pedal where as the GT500 actually takes a good driver to run decent times. Hell there have been zr1's that have run 13s and 14s. I wouldn't brag about beating incompetent drivers......

I had the stock tune loaded because I had to take it to Dodge to fix a tranny issue and forgot to put the custom tune in before I left for the track. So, w/ stock tune and just intake, exhust, and on crappy Falken 452s making 405hp/410tq and a DA of 1872. The #s in my sig. are while doing a 3rd gear pull w/2* retarded timing (bad gas) when it should have been a 4th gear pull. I haven't had the opportunity to get back to a 1/4mi track with the CMR tune and good timing. With good gas, the car pulls much harder. Now I just had to replace both motor mounts so I can dog on it a lil harder.
