To be honest it's sad that with all the horsepower the srt8's have that they are still in the same league as bolt on Mach's.

Hey now, easy on the Dodge guys- Dodge already made them feel bad by building boats, and tried to make them feel better by building so many automatics.. since few of them can handle a standard.. Heck, anyone can mash a gas pedal. :burn: That's why they talk about trying to video tape with one hand and drive with the other.. while sitting in their lazy boy sized seats :beer:
Can a 6.1+ 425 HP Dodge beat a 4.6 320HP Ford? It should -too bad that's not always the case :beer:

I know a guy with a challenger R/T who ran a 13.2 with nothing done but the stock air filter removed. This wasn't even a SRT.

I know a guy who smoked a Charger R/T with full intake and exhaust with his Mach 1 when it only had a cat back and factory tune...

I watched a R/T Charger run high 14's the same night I ran mid 12's. :lol: :lol: Sucks you have to buy the top of the line model to run in the 13's.

Ugh no, low 13's out of the new 5.7 R/T's is the norm. I still LOL at the fact that my 4000+lb "Boat" on 22's and street tires with a tune/intake is making stang owners get all defensive. I dont talk it I run it any kill I claim I can get on video or have it on video. Some of you need to hit the strip more often. Ive lined up with about 10 5.0's in the last month all ranging from stock to modded. When I beat the stock 5.0's (autos, manuals, 3.31's and 3.73 cars) they aren't surprised at all because they actually race at the strip and not on the internet....

When I beat the stock 07 GT500 3 times in a row his words exactly
Him "Is it supercharged?"
Me "Intake, Tune, Catback"
Him "Scratches Head"
Me "Read to much wrong info on the .net"

Ill be honest there are a shit ton of SRT8 owners who make us look bad by running 14's but if you can do simple math you should know a 4000lb car with 425hp (been proven to be closer to 450) can run better then a 14......

See the difference is that all you have to do is mash the go pedal where as the GT500 actually takes a good driver to run decent times. Hell there have been zr1's that have run 13s and 14s. I wouldn't brag about beating incompetent drivers......

I had the stock tune loaded because I had to take it to Dodge to fix a tranny issue and forgot to put the custom tune in before I left for the track. So, w/ stock tune and just intake, exhust, and on crappy Falken 452s making 405hp/410tq and a DA of 1872. The #s in my sig. are while doing a 3rd gear pull w/2* retarded timing (bad gas) when it should have been a 4th gear pull. I haven't had the opportunity to get back to a 1/4mi track with the CMR tune and good timing. With good gas, the car pulls much harder. Now I just had to replace both motor mounts so I can dog on it a lil harder.

wrong....I never race with my car in auto mode. I always race in auto stick mode. Big Difference, I love how when a stang gets beat its an incompetent driver. My car was clearly faster all 3 times. Higher trap, faster ET it was pretty clear. On the street from a roll there is not much room for error......

its a Custom Predator Tune so it takes about 5 minutes to go back to stock. And about 5 minutes to switch the intake back to stock :rockon:
