I tried finding one of these strut tower braces and they were sold out everywhere. From what I understand, it has been discontinued. Where did you find yours?

+1. Where:shrug:

Waiting for bobs oil separator and 90mm idler pulley to finish VMP install, then a dyno tune.

Probably will be the new 8 inch Alpine with the perfect fit kit. I will pick up a H/E in the spring.

I also need to divert funds to Ol Yella. She needs a new paint job, and the hood fixed.

Just waiting on my aluminum dss ds to get delivered, that's first. Going to spend winter getting my car set up for the drag.

I keep saying I'm going to order the 2013 grills, so it might be that. An SCT MAF and retune are going to happen in the spring as well, hopefully.

Is this considered a "mod"? Glovebox organizer?

Before.....

After.....

^^^^^^It didn't come from Ford this way, so I guess it is a "mod"......For better glovebox performance!

it's a mod in my book! just don't try to hang an air freshener on the rear view and try to pass that off as a mod too! lol....then you'd be pushing it....

curious, are you going to add a ds loop at the same time?

I already have the rear loop on the stock ds, got the front loop sitting here waiting to go on once the DSS ds gets here. Originally I was planning on doing the MGW at the same time. Now, I've decided to do the ds first then the shifter so I can tell the diffence in noise between the two.

I would encourage you to do both at the same time NightRide. I did both of these mods separately and I wished I had done them together. The MGW install is so much easier with no DS in the way. I noticed no new noise for either the MGW or DSS DS.

how was that MGW install? i've thought about doing that down the road. i too have a DSS DS that i've been putting off installing. i watched the install video of the MGW online and it looks like it could be a pain to do on jack stands (all i have).

The install is rather easy. The only part that brought out the explicitives was removing the drivers side arm clip. You can't see it so you have to do it by feel. Use a small allen wrench or screw driver and you'll eventually get it. Other than that it's super easy. I think I did a write up on it too, check my posts if you're interested.

On edit:

Found my writeup here
