So going high speeds with a Nitto NT05r 315/35/R20 on a stock rim is not recommended? Never thought about the high speed effect on the oversized tires on a stock rim.

The SVTPP Wheels do have a knurled area on the bead to seat the tire. There's a eight page, fold flat, black color brochure, "2014 Shelby GT500 Purpose Engineered" I got from my Dealer when I purchased the car. It shows a pic of the SVTPP Wheel with what they explain as "Nodules on bead surfaces help prevent high-torque tire slippage" and "200 mph, bolt-on, nickel-coated valve stems with pressure sensors". They're available on eBay.

I have searched Knurled and grips with no luck.

Does anyone have a picture of this feature?
.

Have you read the long article in 5.0 Mustang and Super Ford magazine? Its definitely worth the read, about 15 pages or more and goes into full details of the car build, there is a pic of the wheel bead showing the serated grips, pretty cool detail.

You will see much more slip of the tire on the wheel from a high torque drag launch than any top speed run, but sustained high speed causes a lot of tire temp and yes, that is exactly where an oversized tire would make me worry, but a single run up to 160+ wouldn't worry me personally

Maybe you should help Shelby figure out the option breakdowns on the pkg cars. Been waiting for detailed info on my 40th since the program ended but seems they just put it all in a box and shut the lid

Unfortunately, the info you have now is likely to be the only info you get from Shelby regarding their builds and registry. I was once a registrar, but gave it up to be a director. I made a wise choice from what I now know.

What I can share is the obvious-
One big issue was that Shelby used authorized mod shops to do builds, but then failed to get all information on those builds. Quantum went bankrupt in 2011, and their information was sold at auction, and then destroyed before it was given to Shelby, so specific options and detailed information is gone from that source. I was one of the bidders for all their equipment, but the bank made a sweetheart deal out the back door before I could even get the chance to bid. Still mad about that.

Your 40th information is mostly intact though. If you have a specific thing you are looking for, I can try to find it out for you. I'll do my best with what we can access.

That whole deal with quantum was why I made sure my car was done in Vegas. What I do know with the documentation I do have is it's 1 of 63 black verts. Of those its one of 34 with stock blower. From my e mails I understand it to be the first car to have the interior done as an option and not over the counter. What I am curious to know are these things
3 wheel colors were offered, how many black verts got black wheels vs chrome or silver
How many received the interior that is on the option sheet NOT over the counter?
And also how many got the short throw shiter?

Other options were brakes, tvs and gears I got none of those
Then there are the "stacked" cars which are 40th pkg cars on top of super snakes then you could add the 427 pkg. See why I am confused?? There is ALOT more info Shelby could dish out on what I see is the most odd car they have done. That's why I did it in the first place lol. Alot more rare than a super snake but with 90% of the goodies

Mine was once parked by a valet named Herb with a goiter and severe limp during the Grand Opening of a Gentlemen's Club that was raided by the IRS and shuttered the same evening, DEFINITELY making mine a one-of-one car.

I think one of the dancers was named Shelby.

What "full breakdown"? There's virtually an unlimited number of ways the data can be sliced and diced, each of which is bound not to contain the one particular piece of data somebody was hoping to break-out.

But, here's some basic take rate data for Coupes:

SVTPP - 88% = (9 in 10)
SVTTP - 71% = 81% of all SVTPP-equipped cars (7 in 10)
Electronics Package - 78% (4 in 5)
Glass Roof - 13% (1 in 8)
Recaro Seats - 71% (7 in 10)
Shaker Pro - 62% (3 in 5)
Car Cover - 64% (2 in 3)

The most remarkable market is HI. Where the hell could one drive that would make a GT500 worth owning? Each person drives in the left lane, usually directly alongside someone in the right lane while going no faster than 45mph.

The least remarkable is VT, because such sandals and such heavy clutches don't mix. Virtually the entire state is driving their 4th Subaru instead.

^^^The above really puts in perspective how few 14 Shelby Coupes there are in my state as well as many others. Thanks for the info Madlock.

This is very true here as well. And Subaru drivers are very often the left lane camper.
They also tend to be a specific political persuasion based on their bumper stickers.
