front runner?

I'm about to order tires for my racestar wheels. I am going with 28x11.50 Hoosier QTP's but not sure on the fronts are you guys running 26" or 28" front runners? any pics of both? also are you guys running tubes or not with your tires?

I'm running 28 inch M/H bias ply front runners and I really like them.

No tubes here either.

The 26's only measure out to about 25" installed on car so what is the actual installed height of the 28's?

Not sure I don't have them, I wish I did because with the M&H 26" the front is so low it rubs going onto the trailer.

I put a 205 50 17 which measure 25" on my 17x4.5. My buddy was able to get a 215 65 17 on his which measured 28"

Second is 205 50 17. Both ties require patience and lube from your tire installer. But is more than half the cost of those front runner tires. Good luck

A little too bagged looking to me. I think I'm gonna try the Phoenix 4.5/27-17's next. They're about $150 each.
