I always laughed at 5.bro. That's funny. I was saying that towards the people calling OP a ***. Assuming the OP wasn't actually serious, guys get so butt hurt.

Yeah, I was just joking around with my comment about yours.

You are right. No grey area. Black and White it is a Cobra not a Terminator.

And everyone calls a GTO a Goat.

I don't call GTO's a goat and I'm everyone.

Arguing with you is pointless. You bring nothing logical to the table, just a bunch of bs with nothing to back it up. Meanwhile, skip over all the facts that prove your point wrong.

Here is a better example for you. Im sure most of us were given nicknames when we were kids by our relatives. Your parents named you josh but your family calls you "shooter" because youre great with a rifle. When you go for a job interview youre not putting shooter on the spot where it says name. Same goes for this mustang. Ford named it Cobra but it earned the nickname terminator.

Your family can call you shooter all day long but at the end of the day your actual name is still josh. We can say terminator as much as we want but we know its name is cobra.

I posted facts. You are choosing to ignore them. If the car was to be called a terminator the trim level/name would be terminator not cobra. Get it????

I have conceded that the project was code named "terminator" The Production vehicle is the Cobra.

I can agree with that to a degree. I feel however a car gets a nickname by the public, not by the people who were behind making the car that can be seen in documentation, PR events and a book. It is more official.

To say the below statement is just wrong and what started this whole thing.
Where the 03/04 cobra is not called a terminator.

I have said this before and I will say this again, I could not possibly car any less a Cobra Terminator wasn't a trim level. All 03/04 Cobras were and are Terminators.

I posted facts. You are choosing to ignore them. If the car was to be called a terminator the trim level/name would be terminator not cobra. Get it????

I never ignored any opinion of yours that you gave. You are the one ignoring things, and even not answering my question.

They are one in the same.... You are making up arbitrary boundaries that only mean something to you.

Call your insurance and try to insure a terminator... They will tell you that there is no such thing!!!!

Go to the DMV and try to register a terminator.... They will tell you the same thing!!!!!!!

Try to look up a terminator on KBB or NADA.... You will not find it.......

Go to a list of Ford production vehicles and try to find a terminator....

You won't find it because they never made a car called the terminator.......

It is a Ford Mustang Cobra!

If ford wanted it to be called a terminator it would be called that..... Get it?? or do I need to spell it out even more.

What they called it in the project/design phase is not what the production car is called. There is nothing you can do or say to make it otherwise.

For the love of God...

Yes it is a Ford Mustang Cobra, but it is also called a Terminator. That name wasn't given to it by the public but rather Ford. That's it. Nothing more nothing less.

You are making up arbitrary boundaries. Who gives two s**** that Terminator isn't in the title of Ford Mustang Cobra. It doesn't have to be in the title is what you are missing. Mustang Cobra is already confusing enough as is.

No I am not making up arbitrary boundries the cars name is not terminator. It is a cobra.

The whole point was the OP implying that the intimidator was a rip off of the terminator. I brought the point up that.... the car in the OP really is named the intimidator and that the OP's cobra is not named a terminator.

Which is TRUE....... So you took me pointing out the irony of his post and made it a 2 page shit show of me proving to you that your car is a cobra.

You can call it nancy or greg or T1000 for all I care. But the name of the car as the world (non car enthusiast) knows it is not a terminator.

It is all good though I still love you.

Those are actually pretty cool cars in their own right. ... If you're a NASCAR fan at all, you can appreciate it.

And that's the only way you can appreciate it. That car was almost the antithesis of "cool."

Ford designating the PROJECT name of those cars is them naming the car. Lol, who cares if it was the project name or production name? That is just silly to bring up. Whether you like it or not, and whether you ever recognize it or not, the car is called a Terminator and that was the name given to it by Ford, not the public. The name of it is printed on paper on the car itself, in a book about the Terminators and mentioned in PR events for the car. There is no "trim level" called Terminator because ALL OF THEM WERE TERMINATORS as designated by Ford. This has to be one of the most ridiculous arguments to ever be brought up on this forum.

I don't care what you call the car but the rest of the world knows what Ford named it.

...

So should we be calling the Ford GT the Ford Daisy? That's the development name Ford used for it. :dw:

... We can say terminator as much as we want but we know its name is cobra.

If you guys really want to get into semantics, it's actually called MUSTANG. "Cobra" is essentially a trim level when you really break it down; just like the M3 is a trimmed out 3-series.

Yes, you are making up arbitrary boundaries. You proved nothing more than liking to argue. Thanks for letting me know I own a Cobra though! I had no idea. I thought I had a stealth fighter or Corvette of some sort. Luckily there are people like you to show us all the way.

The Name of the car is actually Mustang and it is a Mustang Cobra that is also known as Terminator. But screw it, John Coletti, the people at Ford, documents on the car and the book Iron Fist, Lead Foot are all wrong because some random person on the internet trying to prove an asinine point, who has nothing to do with the 03/04 Cobras, said so.

When people ask what I have I tell them I have a Cobra. I could call it Nancy if you would like me to since you seem to be the authority on the matter. As a matter of fact, could you tell us all what the next top of the line Mustang is going to be called and what kind of performance we should expect from it? Lets see if I can get ahead of the curve on this one.

I've accept one truth about you, alright. It is certainly not the arbitrary bs you've been spouting.

That is literally what I've been saying this whole time. :dw: You may have not been referring to me though. And I've never referred to a Cobra as a snake or Termi.

What model Monte Carlo was in the OP? The Intimidator. What model is your Mustang? Cobra! Not The Terminator. That is all Phophizzat is saying. Holy shit why is that so hard to understand?

When you're talking with your insurance agent do you refer to your Cobra as the Terminator? **** no because he has no clue wtf you're talking about because it's a Cobra! With a nick name of The Terminator. Can't believe this has gone on for so long.:lol1:
