After working at a Subway for 2 years in high school I havent eaten it in since. Its disgusting and I cant stand the smell. I can tell when a co worker gets it for lunch because the smell stays on their clothes.

Subway is terrible. I haven't eaten there in years but when I did, every sandwich tasted the same. Their meat quality is horrible. I can't imagine how craptastic their breakfast is.

Oven roast chicken. Where I work my only option is Subway or McDonalds.

There's a few sandwiches I like at Subway, but my go to is absolutely the chicken bacon ranch on jalapeno cheese bread with lettuce, tomato, onion, parmesan cheese, oregano, and sometimes either jalapeno or giardiniera peppers

Chicken bacon Ranch /Thread.

Breakfast is actually better IMO. Then again, I apparently don't have the class and taste to be on SVTP.

If you were truly a health nut you would know to stay away from Subway. The meat is heavily processed garbage. Plus, bread/grains just turn into sugar when it hits your system therefor defeating your purpose of staying away from sugar. It's great you are staying away from white refined sugar, but your body doesn't know any difference once that bread hits your system turning to sugar and spiking your insulin levels.

Part of this is true. You need to maintain constant insulin levels. White breads and sugars make insulin spike. Brown/wheat/oat breads, and brown rices, oatmeal gradually increase insulin levels. Sugar isnt a bad thing at all in the correct quantities. With contant low low insulin levels you will feel like a zombie

Screw walking into subway..

I'll walk into McDonalds and eat 4 double cheeseburgers at a time.

I won't be having subway for awhile. I had a 40 dollar gift card and instead of spacing it out I took it as a challenge and had it everyday for lunch at work. I'm on the last five bucks.

Where can you purchase a REAL chicken breast sub?

If you don't want chemicals, additives and fillers your best bet is a mom and pop deli or even a supermarket deli.

Over the short term it won't kill you but massive amounts of nitrates and processed meats has been linked to numerous cancers.

Having a 4yr old son makes you look at what you put into your own body as well as his. If they did not use half the additives and nitrates etc.. I would eat the shit out of it.

My only advice is don't get the jalapeño cheese bread if you aren't going to eat it all in one sitting.

I usually always go with the

foot long sweet onion chicken teryaki
on honey oat roll toasted
provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and a dab of the sweet sauce

but sometimes I got with the meatball on Italian herb and cheese toasted with provolone

Can't remember the last time I had subway? I'd actually like to see if there "whole wheat bread" is actually that! Look at the ingredients on whole wheat bread at the stores, most first ingredient is "enriched whole wheat flour". This isn't good at all! I've found some breads lately that are actual whole wheat flour.
