i've been having some high charge temps lately. like as high as 160* during short distance, normal driving conditions with some stop/go and ambient temps in the 60's-70's.

intercooler pump is pumping like a champ.

i believe i've narrowed it down to a few potential culprits, but would like to consult the SVTP experts.

1 - cams are too big? they're comp 106-460's. i've read about people having issues with reversion, and i've also read that bigger cams can create less vacuum and inhibit the boost bypass valve, my car makes around -12 for vacuum after the cam install(i saw KB has a low vacuum bypass valve).

2 - 2.2KB. notoriously hot blowers along with a RAI sucking in hot air from the engine bay.

suggestions?

I had a similar issue with my comp cams, they originally had to much overlap so had to redegree everything to solve.

You should be able to drop your down stream temps another 30~40 degrees with a good cold air intake. You should also run at least a total of 1.5 gallons of IC fluid too.

I'm planning on ditching the RAI for a JLT high boost.
