Whats wrong with the Flowmasters on this big bore Coyote? I think they will be just fine on one of these cars. ;)

**** yes.
Ford nailed it so ****ing bad with this car it's beyond my understanding.
They took a real wild card and spent money on getting that flat plane crank to work. And the result... well you have it right there.

This might just be the first Mustang that I wouldn't want to throw any sort of aftermarket exhaust on. That thing sounds incredible.

The sound from inside the car. It makes me want to punch babies. That thing sounds downright destructive revving up to 8k.

This thing better post some insane numbers and live up to all the hype. An awesome exhaust note, a N/A FPC and Ford's first attempt at using the mag suspension all sounds cool but Lord help us if it doesn't at LEAST come within a gnats ass of the current Z28. Hopefully it will beat it but I'm not holding my breath based on an awesome exhaust note....

I have no doubt that the GT350R will beat the Z28. I'm more interested to see what times the GT350/R run and what numbers they put down on a dyno and how much power they'll gain with some mods.

I am very curious as well how this engine will respond to mods - I just read the C/D article that said the engine is rated at 526/429 which is exciting. I guess my reservations all come from the suspension. With this platform being so new, I wonder how much time Ford has had to really develop this car into a car that can BEAT, not just *hang with* a Z28. It took GM a long time to tweak the current Camaro to its Z28 form.

I am really really REALLY hoping that I don't read a Randy Probst review that states how glorious the exhaust is but how the suspension, brakes and steering are lacking.

They had 2 years to benchmark the Z/28. They purchased one along with a C7 and Carrera S for performance benchmarking and a Ferrari California for NVH reasons.

Mag ride is not new by any stretch. GM started it and then sold the technology. They allowed Ferrari to use it years ago in exchange for Carbon Ceramic brake technology. The only thing needing tuning would be the various drive modes available in the suspension. The car has been seen testing for over a year and has been in existence longer than that.

The DSSV shocks on the Z/28 are better but don't allow adjustability for DD use and would drive up cost just like CCB do on the Z/28. The 350R will probably just nip the Z but GM has already announced on Monday, a new one on the Alpha platform is coming so expect a power boost next year from Ford to counter it.

Thank you. I was actually going to post that video with my comment because I had a feeling I'd get the responses I did.

Pay off 5.0, use paid off car for a good down. Maybe 2nd or 3rd year run of this car will get the initial quirks out of the system. Not to mention a bump in power.

if I pay mine off its not going anywhere, I would get to use to not having a car note.
