AED pretty much maxes out a stock pump, BAP, and ID1000's with E85 & an 82mm pulley making around 675whp... I don't see the point of running a 79mm on E85 Unless it's detuned, you'll run out of pump...

my tuner won't even tune E85 without a fuel sys...
AED won't tune a 79mm pulley and e85, to my knowledge he hasn't said it's maxed out.

Been running this setup since last October and have never ran out of fuel.

How much power are you making? I'm assuming under 675

I don't know exactly right now but I made 633rwhp 558rwtq on 91 octane with the 79mm pulley on E85 14.5° timing, I run the E85 tune and see 22° timing.

This is a aed tuned roush making 688rwhp and 605rwtq with the STOCK fuel system, I would assume that I'm around that same number with my setup.

The Roush in that clip has an 82mm pulley, That's my point. I'm sure that's on the edge of that fuel sys... I find it hard to believe your running 22* w/ a 79mm & not running out of fuel. You must be shifting around 6800 rpm.
Got any time slips?

I shift at 7k dataloged sent to Justin, he says I am not running out of fuel, I also watch my lambda and fuel pressure to be sure I'm not running out.

No I don't have any time slips, I am waiting to hit the strip until I can have my axle tubes welded up.

I'm not blowing smoke I have no reason to lie about what I'm running, as soon as I can make it to the dyno I will let you know what it puts down.

If you find it hard to belive then that's fine, I can get my datalog and send it to you if you want.

No big deal, it's all cool! I'm more interested in seeing your trap speed on a time slip then a dyno #... Good luck

Got the tunes data logged the 91 for Justin and then switched to corn last night. No Knock ..sweeet. Not going to go WOT on this tank since the change over it said 4 miles to empty I might have had 1/2 to 1/4 gal of 91 in it. Runs great so far. My 91 tune did have a little knock but I knew that since it was not dialed in yet. I sent the logs in for that and will send the e85 logs this weekend. So far everything looks good.

You are still trying to run a 91 tune? Why would you even bother with it at this point since the 91 pump in your area sounds like it sucks. Is Justin just cutting more timing out of the tune then?

You remember my logs - it was down to 10 degrees at one point because of all the knock.

I just want the 91 tune for when I road trip to Vegas. Yep it sucks!! But I want to have all options. Did you get yours running better? Finding good gas is annoying. I wonder whay half the time it does not show my signature I have the thing checked too. Oh well

I'm finally almost done with the MS109 race gasoline in the tank. Just in time to go on the road for two weeks. So I won't be able to test any other pump fuel until I get back. Plan is to pump about 5-6g in there, do a 2nd gear pull to about 4500rpm and check for knock. If there is knock then try another station. Couple stations and still having knock issues then it is on to additives and re-testing with them in the tank too.

I just looked my last data logs and I am seeing 22.5* at 6k .. 25* before 6k.. Just sent in the logs to Justin.
Did you test the fuel and is it actually E85 right now or E70 ?

I see a ramp below 6k up to 22° on E70, still waiting for the stations to get switched over to E85 for the summer which should be any day now.

I think one station here is e85 and one is e70 ( at least it says contains up to 70% and then an E85 sign by it) I will actually check the gas next time I go this week.

And I also saw that the computer no longer calculates the correct mileage it says lower by almost 3 mpg when I use e85 at least on the first tank.

With you seeing 25° it's probably E85, I see 22° on E70, what that is saying is it contains no LESS than 70 % ethanol

Yes your computer will be way off, it will also be off on the gallons used, I have gone to where the computer says I have used 18 gallons and we all know these cars don't hold that much.

That would be sweet if we could create 2 gallons of gas :-D I would drive all day!
You are so right in that there is alot more power. It is really fun to drive now. Now I have to see how the monster does in the Phoenix heat 110 + this week.
This might be a stupid question but is the fuel gauge now off as well? Meaning the needle or is that based on the tank or float in the tank?
Thanks again.

Fuel gauge works normal.

Just me but I'm not sure I would run 25-26 degrees of timing, I'm sure it's fine and even Justin says it's no problem but I don't feel comfortable pushing over 22-23 on the stock internals.
