Lol that is so sick

Thanks! :burnout:

Does anyone have a list of US/CONUS dealers that have allocation? I've been attempting speak with several dealers between VA to MI. Besides a dealer in Virginia beach that had been sun bathing in a nuclear reactor on has theory of ADM and what they wanted I've found it difficult to identify what dealers have what.

There isn't a list. You have to call around.

Yes this is a thread about getting a GT350 at MSRP or close. So back on topic, I am first in line at my dealer for MSRP.

He knows he is getting one each in 16 and 17 by virtue of signing up for the program.

He is still waiting on his regional rep for when my car can be picked up for build.

In the mean time, we all use the boards to kill time waiting for our cars to make it home.

On occasion new information comes out that we can focus on and the rest of the time we are just shooting the poop.

Waiting is hard and not knowing is hard......In the end, it is exciting to be part of the experience and I hope all who want one can have one........Steve

I can get MSRP at my local but same thing they can't give me any info on actual build date. I don't want the car to show up in December or jan. So I think I am in a holding pattern till December and really make a push for invoice. I want to see what this car has in a stait line as well that is one think I was not a fan of on the Z/28 expensive 12 second car.

I still care about strait line speed as well as handling. I like 10.5-11.5 second cars better than 12 second cars from the drivers seat.

I will have to live with my heavy, POS, truck motor, 707hp car till then ha ha.

people can try to minimize strait line performance all they want but when you sell a 10 second car and buy a 12 second car it tends to leave you wanting. been there once before. I hope the GT350 does good here as well by maybe being able to put he power down where cars like hellcats and gt500's struggle without tire. a bit ligher than a z/28, a tick more horse power might be kind of like the C7 where people were hating on it before it release but the car does well for the power it has.

A lot of these cars won't even see lots until November/December. You'll be waiting longer than that to get one at invoice.

70% of dealers will have their orders sold before they come in.

I don't think any car is a good deal that has an ADM...........I would wait or buy "like new" used.....or wait for the competition to make something better so I can haggle with that.

2016 Z28 anyone....lol

my goal right now is to order a car for april-may of 2016 delivery at invoice. you right it might be hard but I got invoice on a hellcat when people seem to think you can't and I got supplier on my Zl1 back in 2012 when everyone was paying MSRP or over so it is all on how hard you look usually. the advantage of being poor white trash is I won't buy the car if it is not a good deal. I would rather spend that 3-4k that people seem not to care about on guns or other cars not just piss it down the toilet.

I understand that.

Unless a bunch of these end up sitting, I still find it unlikely. If dealers would sell them for invoice, I'd buy as many as I could to stock.

Take a look at the Z28s. They are well reviewed performance cars and are now getting a $15k discount to move them off the lots...If they build enough GT350s...I suspect this will happen to them as well.

Doubt it, the Z28 MSRP was too high to start with. Even with 15k off, its still more than a track pack GT350 which will offer similar or better performance along with a very unique/high tech motor (and sound)

Im sure a few individuals will get sub MSRP deals (most with long standing relationships where they are spending money elsewhere), but im guessing 90%+ will go for MSRP or better, even late in the model year.

Z28's are completely different.

Sure there will be some dealers that let them go for nothing. But there will be more than sell at MSRP+.

April May 2016 is not going to happen. If there are some on lots in late 16 in the snowbelt. MAYBE.

For some reason these things are hotter than the 13/14 and the hellcat.

Brokers are buying them for over sticker and selling them over seas for even more

Where did this adm stuff start? I'm 31, so I wasn't around for the last good car era. Did this happen when those cars came out (ie Hemi Cuda, Grand National,)? I'm interested in the GT350, but I'm tired of the adm games. The last three cars I've had were cars that were introduced with a lot of adm. Was it always like this? I got over $6000 off my C7Z51 with supplier price in the first model year. There's no way I'd pay more for a Mustang. I think it'll be a cool car but I don't see why clowns continue to pay this crap. The consumer controls the market and we could easily make dealers sell cars at msrp by voting with our wallets. It's silly to me that that many people pay over msrp for no good reason.

ADM is produced by demand. More demand than quantity of units the higher the value of the vehicle. We have the same thing in housing. Why are their no complaints there? Want adm to go away don't want the car!

With Shelby and the mustang the value it's added because the value of the 60's Shelby mustang which rutinely sell for 30 to 50 times what they sold for originally.

You were able to get 6k off the vette because there were more cars than people willing to pay for them. What's the better car? The car with greater want and in turn greater value.

Just be glad you don't want a 993. You would need to spend $40k ASM or additional seller mark up!

Dealers by me were asking 10 to 20k ADM for 13/14 GT500's but they are asking "Only" 5K ADM for GT350's.
Several people here are already getting GT350's at MSRP.

Hellcats (Challengers) were going 10 to 20k ADM by me and getting auctioned for up to 100K + online and at dealers.

Some people get fooled into paying ridiculous ADM's for these cars, only to lose their shirt later.
These cars are very cool but not classics by any stretch IMO.....not for a looooooong time if ever.

Of course dealers will try to talk the car up to get you to pay ADM...that's the game......I say don't do it unless you got the cash flowing like that. ....I would rather spend that ADM elsewhere....Just wait the hype out.....:)

My local dealer is asking 30k over sticker for a GT350. I had to go out of state.

I wasn't talking about ADMs or paying MSRP. I was responding about paying invoice for one of these in Apr/May

Sticker will be harder to find than than the 13/14 GT500. But wayyyy easier than getting one for invoice

Supply vs. Demand.

I just submitted my build and will be delivered first week of November ;-)

Interesting. Has your car already been scheduled?

$6k off a Vette isn't that much... I've seen guys get a lot more off than that. For whatever reason, Vette's hang around on lots.

They hang around the lots a long time because they make a relatively large amount of them, depreciation hits them hard (I'm so tired of seeing posts/threads from people over-the-moon about picking up a used Corvette for cheap, I don't know what to do.), and Corvettes just don't seem to have "star power" to keep people interested much past the "new model" phase. I would bet most Corvette purchases are by bucket-listers who want to get one just once before they croak.
