Looking to boost a 2016 GT.

I am looking to either Supercharge or Twin turbo a 2016 Mustang GT. I am wondering how much power can the GT withstand on a stock motor and tranny. The question I am asking here is, am I going to have to get forged pistons and a new tranny? If I go with a supercharger, what charger should I get? Could I get a Supercharger with stock internals and push over 600 hp? If I go Twins, I might try the Helion Twin Turbo 55mm and what about the internals for this?

think a lot of the guys on here are going to tell you to do some research because this discussion has come up many times... 600-700hp is pushing it, anything over that build a motor, or blow it up

What are your goals and budget?
Currently I have no specific budget I am just not looking to over spend and my goal is to get it around 700 HP. I don't want to go super crazy with it. I say the most I am looking to spend but would rather not spend this much would be like 9k for the HTT's.

what would be the easiest on your engine? I am looking for power but also something that won't kill my motor. I am probably going to buy some internals like a crankshaft, H Beam, piston heads or just like a forged kit like that but I am still worried about the damage possible. I have been looking at the Stage II vortech procharger with the intercooler. Any ideas on what produces great power but less harm to your engine? I also heard the Hellion TT weren't that hard on your engine, is that right?

Well, the car is going to be a daily driver and I will be dragging it as well. I will take it to the strip a lot.

If you're not wanting to spend a ton of money to go fast you should look at a centri-blower like a Procharger. A PD blower like a Whipple or VMP will be more fun on the street, but is more taxing on the drivertrain.

Ok I'm sure I'll get a little flak for some of my information since it's not from experience, but from doing my research I've pretty much settled on a Vortech setup down the road with the largest pully to keep boost down. I like the Centrifugal route because you're not getting into the more involved turbo set-up but you're not putting the car into instant boost cruising the streets compared to a twin screw or roots. So you have plenty of power when you want to get on it, but you're not killing your engine with extreme power/always going into boost. My 5.0 is a DD and 98% street car so 600ishrwhp is my goal. That's what I'm basing my ideal setup on.

Please correct me on any mis-info guys, still new here.

paxton will be better on a 16, the larger head unit will make more power with less boost.

even 1 pullye down will be fine on a 16, but stock pulley is fine too

let me know what we can do to assist

Girlfriends 15 is 2.9 whipple supercharged, conservative tune at 640whp. Stock boost, stock TB, and pump gas. She drives it every day.
