2015 Mustang GT hood vibrates at highway speeds

Just picked up my 2016 PP yesterday and did a road trip from Baltimore to Florida. I was able to open it up and saw the hood flexing like it was unlatched. That's pretty crazy. Seems like it's drafting a lot of air through the grille at high speeds and causing that upward lift. Wondering if there's a way to block it off so it focuses into the radiator instead.

The hood on my 2012 was really light weight aluminum. It never moved at all at high speeds. I imagine this hood on the 2015's are even lighter. I bought a cervinis cobra r hood its about 20lbs heavier then stock and its fiberglass. Its rock solid. If i were you i'd find a fix soon or get a cervinis replacement. I hope you guys know this is totally unacceptable substandard quality. these hoods should never budge no matter what the conditions!

Not hard to believe that no one would think the rubber bumpers would need to be adjusted on just about EVERY s550. I'll try this but I'll be shocked if ford let this slide by over something so stupid on 100's of thousands of new mustangs

In 2010 I received a Expedition Limited straight from the plant. Had Leather seats in the front, cloth in the 2nd row and vinyl in the rear.

You never know which QC person is going to be checking over your ride.

The rubber bumpers were gonna be my first suggestion. We get cars in all the time that the hood looks offset, adjust a bumper, fixed.

You wanna know why this country is going down the tubes, we cant do anything right anymore. All We are good at is military tactics and making cheeseburgers. Almost everyone on any type of assembly line here is either drunk or high on something. Why do you think both gm and ford are opening up shop in Mexico. Mexicans are poor and hungry for a better quality of life. We are fat lazy and spoiled...seems no one wants to do anything they dont have to do. I work with the public everyday and i see it every day! We used to pride ourselves on service now everyone wants to be served!

Finally did some testing with the new latches and hood struts, and I can say the hood shake, lift and float is completely solved. I would imagine the struts also help bu the quick latch really keeps the hood pinned down. Before I got hod lift and shake on the highway at 70 mph, I tested this out to double digits now and it's solid. Here are the latches I used, and I bought the white ones but repainted them Oxford white.

My car last weekend. This hood lift is getting really annoying and I surely don't want good pins esp on a stock hood!

Mine does it also. I did a quick glance at the rubber stops. Do they just twist up and down like older models? Edit: turned them counterclockwise and they rose up.
