Nice choice OP! Keep us updated on what you do....I give it 30 days until you want more! LOL
There's a guy here locally that has the exact same colors. Is the exhaust that loud stock or could it have been aftermarket? They have a good low tone rumble.

It's semi loud, but not over the top.

It does pop a lot of the over rev

Fricken drive by wire man. RS just too much money. maybe in a few years Ill pick up a MKZ with the 3.0 eco and RS torque vectoring package since the price drops off a cliff.

I'm going to do a muffler delete on mine, All the exhaust system's for the RS are almost 1000 bucks. That's money I would rather spend on my Terminator

If it's anything like my st you can remove the center resonator and the sound is perfect with muffler still in place

That's going to be my problem haha.

I can get cost on a Scorpion exhaust. I just don't really like it at all

I don't honestly mind the exhaust note stock. I wouldn't mind some more intake sounds though

Great looking car, I'm curious to see the difference in numbers once the car breaks in.

RS tax.

It's also a semi-limited run car, so they have to make their money back on a smaller amount of cars.

Intake filters make a weird howl.. It's different. You need to install a sound suppression chamber to get rid of it.

It was too annoying for me so I pulled my filter back out. It was the same filter I had from my ST, a grey cobb filter. It's currently rocking blue oil, so it looks a little unique (grey-blue). If you want it, let me know. It's just collecting dust.

whats the current going rate for a new RS?

Would be hard for me to choose between an RS and a new Golf R if in was in the market for a car in this segment.

Nice car OP!

The center pipe is already straight piped from the factory. The factory exhaust sounds good, I just wish it was louder.

I have the Green high flow air filter with the sound suppression chamber and the Mountune high flow induction hose. It sounds perfect now.

Yup I did the sound suppression chamber on mine. It wasn't to bad to install, took about 10 minutes on my lift. Hey just out of curiosity is your front PTU leaking?

Great numbers for just 24 miles on it! once you get some more miles on it I'm sure it will put down higher numbers.

Yeah it is.

I think that's easily the most common problem. Apparently the surface was not cleaned before the seals were installed. Stupid.

I'll get mine taken care of sometime later this year.

I'm sure mine is leaking then

Is this easily visible from underneath? I really haven't looked underneath it yet

You need to pull the undertray to see it, but yeah, I saw it almost immediately while changing my oil and poking around at everything.
