Hello all,
I am in the market for a new job as I'm getting a bit burned out of being in the car business on a dealership level. I've been looking at both sales and administrative positions in the industry but with better hours (ie. occasional to no weekends) and less stress of relying 100% on commission.
I recently interviewed for a great company for a position that after 3 interviews I was informed that I did not get, yet that I was the runner-up and that they are interested in me for another position within the company.
Their Talent Specialist (recruiter) called me this past Monday to share the news and asked if I would be interested in the other position to which I replied that I would be. The next day I sent her an email to get more information regarding the position, hiring timeframe, and whether or not I needed to do another round of interviews. I have already done three interviews for a collective 5 hours with said company.
She told me that she would email me with more information as soon as it becomes available - the position is listed on the companies website as well as other job sites such as Indeed.
Has anyone ever been in my shoes before? I'd really like to work for this company and am thrilled that they are interested in me for another position. More often than not you're told you didn't get the job and you have to move on. The suspense is killing me though - I don't want to pester the recruiter either for more info.
Cliffs:
Interviewed for a job
Didn't get it
Told I am being considered for another position
Waiting... Waiting...
