at least they are miles better than gen1/2 clamshells lol

No kidding. You had to take the hood off to do anything.

Good looking car!
I like the Gen V's....the ONLY downside is the clamshell hood. Haha I would hate that thing.
I just did a water pump with clamshell on. Did suckNo kidding. You had to take the hood off to do anything.
Hate it? I cant get enough of it
If you wanted to do something serious it would need to come off, which is what they do when they pull motors, heads/cam, etc. No real issue with access for bolt-ons.

Got the window sticker today, never been happier to be the 2nd owner
So good! Is that wheel hop @1:16 in the video? If so, looks like Full Tilt Boogie racing needs to make some viper bushings lolQuick pulls with the full bolt-on setup. She is rowdy!
It is, thats why you hear me lift for a second to get her settled down. It's just the tires, these R compound pirellis aren't for straightline, these are road racing tires. Very stiff sidewall and love to transmit shock through the driveline instead of absorbing some of the impulse. So good! Is that wheel hop @1:16 in the video? Interesting. What tires will you be going with after the stock ones?It is, thats why you hear me lift for a second to get her settled down. That's awesome. I have R888 all around on my cobra and love them as well.I track these cars so I cant be on a drag radial, I will be going full R888 toyos all around when these Corsas have had it. I love the R888s on my last car, absolutely best performance tire I've ever put on a car. May even look into the new R888R
Same set up planned for this one like your last one? Any benefit with the X ECU in the Fifth Gen?
