They are simply mad if they dont do a Twin Turbo Coyote variant with Direct Injection.

Literally the dumbest thing they could do would be to go with a bigger blower. They have such a monstrous amount of research and experience with turbos right now. Dont forget all the Turbo Coyotes ALREADY out there proving that they are making huge power with 302 cubes and BOOST. Ford 4 valves LOVE boost. Give them free boost with turbos Ford!!!

It's coming, 755HP, GT350R brakes, suspension, aero, carbon wheels, Sport Cup 2s and probably something unknown. It's going to be another epic American bad-ass.

ZR1
Z06
GS
ZL1 1LE
ZL1
CTS-V
Demon
Hellcat
Trackhawk
GT350R
GT500
Ford GT

Did I leave anything out?

JMO new body style looks like chunky vomit ...

I think the s550 body style in ecoboost, v6 and gt form is a disaster looks-wise but I think the gt350 looks fantastic.

Im sure Ford's special vehicle (SVT) will look great like it always has.

Where's DBK when you need him!?!? Ha ;-)

At least they waited this long to put a Terminatorish hood on the new cars.

My opinion; just wait and see until something is officially released. If a new GT500 is slated to be released, Ford has done one hell of a job keeping it under wraps.
For me, a 10 speed auto is appealing for multiple reasons, but not sure it would be enough to pull me away from my 2014 GT500. Something about a car being paid for compared to a $30K+ deficit on a newer model.

The last thread I remember contained......speculations but not much that's really concrete. This thread.....speculations but not much that's really concrete. We really haven't learned much that is new. I'm hopeful the new GT-500 will be a home run, but as for me, I'll just wait until it's officially announced by Ford and we know exactly what it looks like, suspension specifics, engine specifics, transmission specifics, etc.

If they don't go TT then I wont be interested.

Prepare to be uninterested

I wouldnt count on that bud... SVT has a pretty good track record for making for great looking vehicles...

I guess you haven't heard the news, SVT has been dead since 2014. SVT, Team RS and FPV merged into the global "Ford Performance" brand.

Wow that article is vague. It doesn't state sources or anything to hint that it's legitimate info

Because its all speculation. Car and Driver has done this for over a decade.

They are simply mad if they dont do a Twin Turbo Coyote variant with Direct Injection.

They won't. I believe when the S550 platform came out or was right around the corner, they said doing a twin turbo V8 wasn't going to happen due to cooling and structural safety reasons.

If it isnt a Twin Turbo with a 10 Speed auto as an option and possibly AWD, Then its going to be an automatic fail. The new Camaro ZL1 is already moping the floor with everything Ford has on the table right now.

Anything on the current S550 platform won't be AWD. Anything on the upcoming S650 platform has the potential to have an "awd" system where the electric motors in the hybrid system powers the front wheels. Depending on what Ford intends to do with the hybrid tech.

Personally I prefer a supercharger over turbos. But then again I'm not all about the highest HP numbers. I like the immediate HP. Although, turbo lag is becoming less and less of a problem for some cars nowadays.

Correct. Allow me to re-phrase that for you... Ford is highly likely to bring to us a special vehicle with great looks, like they have in the past.
