I expect the GT500 to be out next summer. I quess you can't stand the GT350...
LOL, to be fair, I doubt I will care for 500 either. Just not an s550 fan. But we will see (eventually...), Ive seen some mock-ups that look decent, so who knows.

The comment was meant for the tones RS3. It's very clear he could care less for the GT350 and thinks no one is buying them or paying an adm.
hence his losing costumer quip.

I hope you're not putting words in my mouth.
I LOVE the GT350R. Awesome car. I wouldn't pay over MSRP for one though. Never. Or any car for that matter.
Where are you coming up with that info that I don't like the GT350 cars??

The GT350 is a great vehicle as you just stated. I was trying to figure out how Ford is losing customers?
Never said they were losing customers.
I said they "could potentially" lose customers over the long wait for the new GT500. People are buying Hellcats and ZL1s currently. And the Demon. But, maybe Ford has a plan,.......let those cars fizzle out a little, people will get bored with them, want something new/different and want the new GT500 in a few years? (Just speculation.)

Long Wait? I'm not sure what you mean by this. The GT350/R have been compared to cars three times their price and have brought over many people from the higher end markets because it drives so well.
Yes they did take a little longer to get it to market. Yet people are still paying over msrp on the base models, so I'm assuming the extra wait and doing things right worked for Ford.
See below:

The 350 and 500 are not generally the same audience, so sure, Ford could be losing customers to hellcats and demons because of the lack of a 500 option.

No doubt people who only want the biggest horsepower or simply bragging rights have sold their GT500 and purchased the zl1/z06 or HC. Will it be enough to keep them away when the new GT500 does show up? Maybe. Will Ford have trouble selling the 5k GT500 units every year? ....

Last GT500 was 2014. GT350 was released 2015 (meaning it was being developed during the GT500 run). Do you really think that after they stopped production of the 2014 GT500 they didn't start on the next one? Using the "3 year model" spoken of, that would be a 2018 model release (though there is no 3 year standard).

Believe me, there's one that's been in development and we should be hearing about it soon.

The issue I worry about is the insane dealer mark ups. I pray that Ford takes a page from Dodge's playbook where they recently announced they would ship the Demons based on received buyer orders at or below MSRP first in order to avoid that whole fiasco.

Ford won't do anything of the sort. Wait until you see how it plays out with Dodge.

Remember when Dodge attempted to do something similar with the Hellcats? Didn't work.

Ford dominates the market on supply/demand pricing. They will not overproduce their 'big dog' car, just to sell it at a huge discount.

Twin turbo 5.0, 800 horse with a sub 3 second 0-60 on 305 tires. Now youve got your track car in the 350 and your street / strip monster in the 500. Oh and Ford wont need a stripped, tired, race fueled freak to do what the demon can do. Final Answer.

Every year the GT500 has been produced there has been the previous year new model sitting on lots for purchase. Availability has never been an issue with the GT500 in the Tampa area, it's been dealers raping costumers.

I'm guessing you haven't actually read the Dodge release on delivery of the Demon? ( http://www.motortrend.com/news/2018...-demon-allocation-plan-dissuades-price-hikes/ ).

Yes, when the Hellcat first came out they got crazy prices, but then Dodge finally stepped in and capped ADM to $8750...a salesman friend at Dodge was begging me to buy one last year as they had 17 sitting on his lot and couldn't get the new year in due to that unsold inventory.

If we could just get everyone with more money than brains to stop paying this damn ADM then maybe the dealers would actually sell at MSRP. I bought my 09 GT500, 10 Raptor and 13 GT500 at or below MSRP...you just have to be patient or have luck (my 13 was ordered by someone who couldn't pay for it, lol).

Another site has posted new photos of a mustang claiming it to be a supercharged 5.2 cross plane crank engine, 7 speed dct and two piece brake rotors. It also mentions it's using original body panels.

There is zero supercharger noise and the vehicle is lacking the GT500 carbon fiber wing. Not sure why they assume a 5.2 cpc and 7 speed by a video (especially since Ford just developed an amazing 10 speed that is being offered in the Camaro as well).

I can tell you one thing: Ford does not accidentally let test vehicles get photographed and video recorded. These vehicles are taken onto public roads in an effort to garner attention and/or throw off the competition (They have plenty of test track/roads without having their secret product being see).

Don't be quick to believe everything a car news site will tell you.

Its because of all the d-bags that think they just have to have the latest, newest thing and a year or less later they dump it and move on and couldnt care less about the raping they just took. There are A LOT of these type folks on this very board.
