Wow what a thread to read lol! But my input is yes this demon is impressive for a production car. I just can not see given its power to weight it will run 9s in the consumers hands. Time will tell but my guess is low to mid 10s all day every day, but with those "perfect" conditions it obviously will get that mid to upper 9s time. Awaiting Fords response if any to the current american top dawg
This car isn't even going to be able to hold it's fake title of "quickest production car" long enough to make it into customer hands.
Who said running these new super cars in the 1/4 was difficult? Just put on launch control and go. Way more consistent than the Demon will ever be.
They should have never labeled it that. Customers are going to be pissed when they are losing. But..... It's the faster production car ever in the whole universe Dodge told me so and it has the coveted NHRA approval, so fast it's banned!

GT, could be a lot of factors. I don't know them all but the compared to the other cars the Demon is 1000lbs heavier, produces insane torque down low, and may have a launch control system that doesn't assist as much and requires more tuned driver input. Weight distribution could also be a factor.

This post just shows your lack of intelligence (like every post from you hasn't?). Where did I say a member here had a Demon? I said a member here currently has or has recently had (as in owned, not rented) most of the cars you're comparing to the Demon. He has said, in this very thread even, that he will also own a Demon. He also has or has had a Cobra Jet.
If you want to argue with him, the guy who said exotics at the track are harder than most people think to wring a time out of, then by all means be my guest. But he's well established here and elsewhere as someone who can do much more than argue with a keyboard or drive in a straight line.
