I'm trying to get as much mechanical grip as possible, so I want to run 315s in the rear but ultimately 305s in the front. What do I need to do not to rub? Thanks. 17x10.5 btw
17x9. I think the 275 looks fine personally. The terminator came with 275..18x9?, but the rack turn radius had to be limited to keep them from scuffing.
265 has worked for some..but not others..
255 is really the max that lets you get the most turn.
the wider you go the more trammeling you will feel
315's on the front of a new edge body is simply a retarded proposition. I have 255's which is perfect.People have fit a 315 35 17 sized tire on the front end of a Mustang with a SLA suspension. I’ve also seen a 315 front tire on a 2003 Mustang that still had a strut type front suspension so wheel offset was the key in that case.
Pretty broad statement. Depends on the goal of the car. I've only been around one car with that wide of a tire up front. It had major mods to get it to happen. And it was built for AIX.315's on the front of a new edge body is simply a retarded proposition. I have 255's which is perfect.
I said 315's are too big also not a fan of the 275's but could live with them I guess for a street car but as mentioned 255's are good for me with 275 ET Street I's out back.. Also we're in the New Edge forum, the cars with the 17X8 oem rims, 315's in front with those? Nope..I guess I'm retarded too for having my too big 275's up front.......
Guess I'll go down to the approved 255 for auto-x and open track this year
I mentioned "17x10.5", this is for purely for mechanical grip, not for looks nor acceleration, but thanks for your inputI said 315's are too big also not a fan of the 275's but could live with them I guess for a street car but as mentioned 255's are good for me with 275 ET Street I's out back.. It might be the new edge forum, but how many people in here are still on stock rims?I said 315's are too big also not a fan of the 275's but could live with them I guess for a street car but as mentioned 255's are good for me with 275 ET Street I's out back.. Mine been in for a yearMy stock wheels were off about 5 hours after I bought it
racebronco2 runs 315's squared if I remember correctly. Check with him..
I think 275's look too big in front, I wouldn't even consider 305's
