Amazing if true.

772 and 743 hp/trq numbers?
Talk about a car that should be a straight line beast while also being more than competent in the the turns.
Very nice.

Seems right as they don't stick to multiples of 5 or 10 usually for the higher tiered cars these days.

Boss - 444
13/14 GT500 - 662
GT350 - 526

I hope the car isn't really turning 3200RPM at 72MPH though, because that would mean it's not the 7spd DCT.

Manual mode on the shifter nah, would show M7 on most cars, an acceleration pic or deceleration pic?
Originally it was in 6th gear at 66 miles per hour but thought that no one on SVTP would buy them, lol.

Wait, so 772 is because 7th gear, 72mph?

Numerology is confirmation bias. I'll wait for non-speculative numbers.

If no Auto.......Im out.
Fingers crossed but not getting my hopes up.
Ford is the only car company that doesn't offer a auto trans
in a "upper level" performance car.

yea rowing gears use to be kool till the new auto's came out that can go 8's STOCK.....

watch any Youtube video of a guy rowing gears against an auto and u can clearly see them lose ground everytime they shift and thats IF they don't miss the gear itself which is also pretty common.

I'm about going FAST not looking kool! and the auto's are clearly way faster then stick shifts these days.

my previous mustang had a T56 Magnum in it so I have had both and the auto is the clear winner in EVERY way ESPECIALLY when u throw a good converter at it.

Not many guys know they can power shift. Yeah, autos just keep getting better. Going to manual mode seems strage without a clutch pedal.

Everyone knows autos are faster. I will always take a manual over a auto. nothing is more fun than rowing gears IMO.

Can you do this in all these new cars without risking breakage, though? If I tried that shit in my cars, I'm likely gonna break shit.

Dash shows paddle shifters, so that's probably a safe bet.

I think some people get in their head if I'm not shifting the car manually its not gonna be as fun. well, at one point in my life I would have agreed with that. At least until I went for a ride in a real fast Turbo car with the proper converter.

I guess the word "FUN" is relative to ur own experience but in my experience losing a race to an auto has never been "FUN" to me.

Driving through stop and go heavy traffic has taken the joy out of shifting, especially since my track days have become rare. I agree though, having fun and enjoying a car is more than 3 pedals.

I want to like autos, I really do. But the last time I drove something with more than 5 speeds in a slush box, it was constantly hunting for a gear, and was not the least bit enjoyable. Granted, that was probably 3 or 4 years ago, but it didn't leave a good impression.
