I was looking for a gun to carry, I currently own a Glock 43, and came across a Wilson Combat Centurion 92G Tactical any thoughts as a carry Gun for everyday use?

M&P Shield 9mm. They just came out with a Gen 2, has a better grip. Naturally I bought mine "on sale" before they went on super duper sale and came out with the Gen 2. But regardless, I put the extended grip clip on it with the feather for my pinky and set of sticky wrap around grips.

It's light weight, has a slide safety, and a chamber indicator. All I need. I'd of bought a 40 version but 40 is so dang expensive.. and if I'm in a situation where 9mm can't get it done, I probably wouldn't be using a hand gun in the first place lol.

It's definitely more gun to carry than the 43. I went and shot a ton of small frame 9mm's and ended up liking the lc9s pro more than any of them. Even as a bigger guy I don't think i would like carrying a gun as big as that.

9mm is becoming the preferred Ammo for LE again with newer 9mm technology so nothing wrong with a 9mm.

I bought a Springfield XDS9. I wanted a Shield, but they were much pricier. My next gun will likely be a Walther PPQ 9mm. Pretty awesome trigger on that gun ...

I’ve carried a wide variety of firearms over the years. My current carry lineup is a Sig P938 9mm, Glock 43 and a CZ SP-01 Tactical 9mm.

Spending more on a carry gun like a WC is not going to make the gun any better. You're just buying a fancy brand.

For EDC, Glock 43/26, sig P238 (.380) or P938 (9mm), Shield Gen 2, Bodyguard, LC9 by Ruger, all are great options and will not break the bank.

The G43 has the Talo option for about $500 and it has night sites, which are great. Same with the P938 if you get the nightmare option (all black)

commander size 1911 in milt sparks VM2 with a proper gun belt.

you are going from small, thin, lite to thick and heavy (although proper holster and belt is what matters). Also totally different trigger and firing system from what you have. IMHO 43 is a better option particularly for summer carry.

Your thoughts on the CZ? I've wanted one for a while now.

I googled it. That type of pistol is not for me. The only mechanical safety i want is the trigger safety like a glock has. And i freaking hate how glocks feel. So much sure you are ok you may die if you forget the safety on.

It seems like a bigger pistol but size doesnt bother me. You have to dress around what you carry regardless.

Glock 23 or the wife’s 43 if I need something smaller.

That being said, if I could do it all over again knowing what I know now, I would have gone with the G19. I love 40S&W but 9mm is cheaper and easier to find and will never go away.
