The Aussie Cobra. The 02 was sent down under to the land of OZ.

I had no idea.Yep. Lucky us. Most of them command $20K+ USD nowadays. Having said that, the convertibles are still some of the cheapest, somewhat modern V8 'verts you are able to buy here.
Really? I never knew the '02 Cobra went to Japan. I (and some others) knew it was offered in Australia, and, I thought, only in Australia. Also sold in Japan as an export car.
Saw a bunch in line waiting to go at Dearborn assembly back in summer of 2001.

Have a look!
Other than a few Mercedes CLK500's and Lexus SC430's, cheapest V8 'verts newer than 2000 we can purchase here. Bit crazy.
The link is to a car sales link BTW, nothing dodgy.
Wow, if there were only 100 made...there's probably 25 for sale down there right now haha
Just searched for Cobra’s only. 20 of them! Not sure why there are so many for sale - maybe they’re worried they’ll further depreciate now that we have S550’s sold here.
Yeah, I was just guessing. That's crazy to have 20% of them for sale. Gotta imagine a few of them were totaled too.
No doubt.
It’s also interesting to me how, over the years, I may have seen maybe ONE 03/04 for sale. In contrast, I’ve seen at least 30/40 GT500’s. Makes me wonder whether they think a Terminator isn’t a great enough leap over the 01/02’s to justify the extra expenditure.
I trusted your word. I have no reason to doubt you.https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/results?q=(And.Service.Carsales._.Year.range(2000..)._.Cylinders.8._.(C.Make.Ford._.Model.Mustang.))&sortby=~Price
