9.67 is not 9.65 and it has to be achieved in the same configuration dodge did it in or it means jack shit. Also this fat pig is already obsolete, 720s with just a tune ran better than 9.65.

If this thing can use race fuel, bigs and littles, a trans break, and upgraded factory tune. Than any car with a tune is on the same level and playing field.

Looks like you picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue.

A 2-door Charger Kitty would be killer...

yes, but one that looks similar to the beautiful, classic design of the 68-70 version. not this fugly 4-door thing they have. dodge did a terrible disservice to the great charger nameplate when they came out with a 4-door musclecar. smh

the challenger is awesome, though - they nailed the look of the original design almost perfectly.

Think you're missing the point.
Man I guess so or we just completely disagree on this one. If Ford had made the demon I would be just as fond of it. Even if they did go way out of their way to go as fast as possible in the car(a car built to drag race) and then advertise it that way. Tbh in some ways I think it kind of adds to the experience. Lot of demon owners are having fun chasing that number and someone will eventually do it.

Dodge claims and promotes the shit out of it running a specific time. That no one has hit in prime season, as every nut hanger says "just wait, it's coming", when? Doesn't matter who built it, if Ford or GM did the same, I would expect everyone to rag on it just the same.

Lots of Demon owners don't like chasing the unattainable, as we won't see a 9.65@140 in the configuration they claim stock. Pretty sure the closest was a tuned Demon.

Dodge sold the equivalent of a claw machine to owners promising them they will get the big prize in the corner, too bad it's rigged to only let you win the squeaky toy.

It is dodge and I wouldn’t be surprised lol

I’m going to SEMA and will be looking for this.... Gotta say Dodge is on it.

As far as those of you giving the Demon crap about it’s track times.... Ford has been busy selling its V6 Ford GT and a 12 sec Shelby GT350.... meanwhile at Dodge, they have built 707hp cars since 2015... now 808 and 797hp cars and still are moving forward with a larger displacement engine for....... drum roll......
Even more power!

I hate to say it, but Dodge is the company that is building the real cars right now.

They know their segment and cater to it better than anyone else currently. They're pumping out badass rides on an ancient platform and doing it with great sales volume and profitability, bravo.

Ah yes, need that negative DA and maybe 40* outside, with a 75lb jockey for a driver.

Well those are the conditions that Dodge used to get the 9.65 time to begin with. I think it is pretty smart to assume that an owner of the car would need the same conditions.

You guys seriously don't like a blown American v8 Pony car that can run 9s stock and comes with a warranty?

Well yeah...Dodge. Nuff said.
