I don't have near 700HP or whatever is needed for passing either.Youd lose. Your don't have offroad airbags.

I'll still put my almost 8,000# pig up against a Cayenne in a 330' race.
Not much, that’s a dodge. lolGot a pic of your door jamb? Everything ive read says gvwr is 2800 kg or 3000 kg, not 6800lbs but I’d be curious to see what the US cars say.
Your suspension components are flimsy compared to any vehicle actually built to tow. Period.
If you want to see what a proper vehicle set up for towing looks like... I’m ur huckleberry.
But WTF do I know I guess?

Cayenne with a tow package comes with a tow module that changes the dynamics of the vehicle. Has a hookup under the dash for a 3rd party brake controller, which is all but required for heavy trailering. Brakes are more than sufficient, power and torque are more than sufficient, driveline cooling is more than sufficient.
It tows well.
Take it from someone that tows with a mid sized suv from time to time....I’m in the market for a truck for a reason. Now the difference is the XC90 is only rated for 6k lbs but that’s not much different then the vehicles you’ve been shopping.
Don’t get me wrong this thing has impressed me but I feel better towing with a full size suv or truck when I’ve done so in the past.
I mean let’s be honest if you saw some guy hauling a boat out of the water using a Porsche wouldnt you think it was kind of weird?
Axle center line -- what? Trailer sway brake arms!?!

Actually yes it does and it will lift the car a bit for slow speed maneuvering or if you put it in sport mode it lowers it a bit. I know you’re being sarcastic as well lol reality is who buys something like this with any off road intent.Does yours have air bag suspension for off road prowess tho?

Not in the least.
You're a tow "expert", yet you've never heard of one of these? Trailer Sway Control Kit
You don't know what an axle center line is and how it affects tongue load (and towing in general)?? Yet you're a tow expert?
Not everything needs to be hit with a small peen hammer. And pulling a 5th wheel is not the same as a hitched trailer.
Something is off....I don't see how a sub 4 second 0-60 SUV isn't exciting.
Some simple math states the maximum trailer weight and gvwr either equals maximum gvwr with trailer weight or is under by less than 10lbs. Meaning by adding a driver puts the car overweight, haha.
With all due respect, I don't think you are plugging in the right numbers for your math.

5000 (avg) + 200 + 1000 (4x250) = 6200
Trailer 7700
6200 + 7700 < 14000
EDIT need to throw in the 6-700 tongue weight
so 5000 (avg) + 800 tongue and cargo + 750 would exceed listed GVWR. So your buddy will need to be in a pilot car or lose some weight.
Honestly, you wrote what was already said.
