According to the rep we dealt with, A Cayenne Turbo S isn't really an off-the-lot vehicle. So it'll have to be ordered. The Turbo S isn't configurable on Porsche's site yet, but the Turbo is. Configuring a Turbo to what I'd like, it's over $140K. The Turbo S will probably start somewhere around $160K. The rep said neither of them will be for sale in the States until next summer. The problem with that is the 2020 Lincoln Aviator will be hitting the market somewhere around that time. That vehicle's looks alone put up a STRONG argument despite it not really matching our parameters.

I'm completely green when it comes to Porsche, but is there a refresh coming, hence the long delay in wait time? Or is it something with the factory output?

And yea, I guess your rep is correct cause I couldn't find any new Turbos at all from Miami to Orlando. Never would of guessed that with the handful of ones I see around Palm Beach County.

Aviator has the power you want out of a SUV, especially when considering a Turbo, trackhawk etc?

Nope. I’m pretty hung up on towing a cheap boat with an expensive SUV. My motives are pure.

...

Ha! A $100K+ boat is cheap to you? Looks like you're balling way more than me. Yet you have the gall to be trying to give me shit for wanting to buy a Cayenne Turbo S???

What are the odds of finding an article that covers [quite favorably] almost the exact setup I'm considering? LOL Nice find!

Actually I gave you shit for using it as a tow vehicle. As far as premium luxury vehicles, the Cayenne is awesome if you can afford the maintenance.

Not in the slightest. But it's just so damned beautiful (and unexpected from Lincoln)! It's hard to resist! The Cayenne is all new for the 2019 model year. It's much better looking at the back end and I believe slightly bigger than the outgoing model.

Actually I gave you shit for using it as a tow vehicle. ...

Then you're completely missing the point just like the other dejecters. I'm not going to buy a whole other truck just to pull a boat a few miles at a time when the Cayenne is perfectly capable of doing it. Read the article that Scoriox posted. I'm looking for a MULTIPURPOSE vehicle, and you guys are losing your shit over the ONE metric that will be used the LEAST.

Wow the aviator looks stellar! Not sure how I haven’t seen it prior, but with the wait time for a Porsche being ordered that would be a tough choice. If you have the wait time I’d at least consider a test drive of the aviator first.

What are the specs for it though, power, and tow rating?

The Porsche still I think given the choice between the two is just a different level of vehicle but that’s just my opinion of Porsche in general.

I would assume the aviator would tow less since it’s a smaller vehicle?

That’d probably be my assumption also.

I’d go with the Porsche

I agree. It won’t have anything behind it 95% of the time, and it should be able to manage the other 5% relatively safely and easily. It’s pretty hard to beat it as a DD.

I seem to remember reading an article speculating that it will have the same Ecoboost V6 as the Raptor as an option. It is for sure going to be a plug-in hybrid, evidenced by some of the announcement pics circulating of it plugged into a charging station. The Navigator doesn't even get a V8 option, so there's scant chance that the Aviator will. The Aviator will be a body-on-frame vehicle, so I suspect it will have a pretty decent tow rating. Probably the same as the Navigator, if not better, considering it'll be a newer vehicle on a newer platform. It's not going to be fast nor fun by any stretch of the imagination. But it sure is nice to look at, and I don't think I'd be too upset to own one!

Be a man for once in your miserable life and say it yourself.

What is this some childish ass game of 'he said he said'?

I asked you AS A MAN what your problem is

You've now skated past the question on two separate occasions (Gimmie11s and my response), you know, something LITTLE BOYS (not men) do.

For someone who 'doesn't give a shit what I think' you surely spend a lot of time responding to what I say. lololol

Should I start charging rent for the space I've got in your head or.....?

26 year old revving up someone on the other side of 40. Gotta love it.

Keep on keepin on, bub.

How someone with such an ...ahem... "high IQ" is too dumb to read and comprehend that I didn't seek advice from anyone. Perhaps my original post was just too low level for you to comprehend that I was talking about not coming away impressed with my experience with a Trackhawk. If only I could get some of that "superior" brain power to make something I thought was so elementary a bit clearer for you.

Re-read my post and then let that brain of yours analyze it for a few hours, then refer back to your reply. I didn’t say you were seeking advice on this topic, but as a generalization of your overall posts in that I find it interesting that someone who believes themself to be so “intelligent” is either looking for advice or posting for acceptance. This is furthered by the fact that when folks aren’t in agreement you become combative and generally turn into the disgruntled, woe is me persona most of us know you as. But hey, you go on with your bad self. Make the intelligent choice for that 2k+ payment for 84 months on a depreciating asset just like you were contemplating in the other thread, or just show that photography baller status and drop it in cash...whatever floats your boat.

Made me curious if there was anything new on the truck
2020 Lincoln Aviator Photos – New Luxury SUV Steps Out (updated 11/5/18)

Powertrain: The Aviator concept featured a twin-turbocharged plug-in hybrid powertrain, which Lincoln promises as an option on the production model, but most examples are sure to be powered by a conventional gasoline engine, likely a V-6 such as the twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6 found in the Ford F-150 and others.

I would hope it would at least get the regular F-150 3.5L TT if not the Navigator 3.5L TT HO. Maybe in a higher trim at least?

this thread needs to be cleaned up IMO, lots of personal attacks and bickering

i dont agree with the vehicle choice but the man must be doing something right to be able to drop 6 figures on a vehicle, more power to em

the chances of it getting the HO are about the same as getting a V8 option, virtually 0. Lincoln does not do performance options. I'll be interested to see what the pricing is, im guessing it will start at $58k and top out at $70k which would put in on par with the expedition while still being less pricey than the navigator

Yea, was not hopeful on it getting it. Just would assume it should get the 3.5 L TT engine that the Sport+ Explorer gets.
