So I think I am ready to pull the trigger.

First off, local dealer had one show up that is exactly what I want: destroyer gray, no roof, black hood, factory five stars. So I go and look at it and it is totally beat to shit. Scratches in the paint, stickers all over it (!!), rock chips all over, the interior is FULL of dog hair, the passenger seat has a huge water spot. Sales guy told me that one of the local casino indian kids bought it and beat it to piss which apparently is common. If you know any Minnesotans you will hear all sorts of stories of the indian kids doing shit like this.

But: I found two that I would be willing to pull trigger on. I want white auto with no roof. One has black hood, leather seats. Other has white hood alcantra seats. So it comes down to black hood or alcantara seats. Which should I get?

Stock for now. I went overboard on my GT500 so this will be my grocery getter. Although my tuner said he just did one with a pulley and a meth kit and got 900 whp......

the word meth scares me MORE so when referring to cars, vs the controlled substance....lololol

they'll make 640-670 through the automatic, and can easily make 800whp with injectors / pulley / tune.

Dont do longtubes unless you're at 4 digit power.

many tuners will not factor it into the tune for safety reasons, i.e. tune parameters based on meth being sprayed, too many variables to put a tune on the ragged edge and rely on the meth. Spraying it is fine, just don't go bumping the timing to try an squeeze some extra horses out while on it. You will still see good results without pushing your luck.

You already have the itch..so scratch it. My thought process however is you already have a Muscle car so why not get something different. I run an 18 F150 Truck, but maybe a nice SRT8 Jeep or something that would be more comfortable.

I looked at SRT jeeps. My initial thought was that they do everything right. Muscley, plenty of room, all wheel drive. But the more I thought of it, they actually do nothing all that well. It won't be fast enough to satisfy me and I cannot take it offroading. LOL at the cost of 305 blizzacks if I want to run it in the winter. I have a 4runner and an outback so no worries if it just sits around.

Definitely go with the one with the alcantara! I think the leather doesn't hold up well, IIRC.
Good luck and keep us posted!

Alcantra is easy to clean as well, mix wool-lite and water, voila....some folks are scared off of Alcantra thinking its a nightmare to keep clean.
I like the alcantra better.
I have it in the Roush as well and I really like it. Breaks it up a bit. On the seats, door panels and shifter boot.
