Toledo area, Sylvania.
Definitely doesn’t handle well on the bias plys, but the ride.....plush.
About 11 miles after that pic the clutch said I’m done.
I was driving up to run a 9 sec pass. The goal for this car has always been to drive from my my house to the track and run single digits.
Based on Friday night logs and the weather for yesterday’s track rental, and that it averaged 9.80 in True Street just like this, that should’ve been easy.
Now we have to upgrade the clutch and make it to Mod Nats in November.
She does look good though

Hey hey buddy! How ya been?
It’s already been 9.55 at Norwalk at NMCA in August, but I trailered. That’s awesome, sorry about the clutch though. Hope you get that 9 sec. slip before the end of the season.

No worries on the clutch as it was an experiment with my friend who started working with Australian XClutch.
This was an organic triple disc for slipping/drag use, and they didn’t rate it for this torque and weight. The plan is to inspect this one and upgrade to their cerametallic triple rated for 2000hp. I’ve since driven it and the cerametallic was awesome, no difficulties slipping and street manners, so I’m glad to do it before Mod Nats.
