and the weight removal? I can remove roughly 200lbs from that 4225 easily, without sacrificing any daily comforts, but you guys wont bet that either. id have to bet something like 650+ lbs or some stupid shit
Cman wants to bet 2 random people on a random road with a random "test"
Nobody was betting on how much weight can be pulled out of this car and keep some resemblance of an interior with comfort stuff still intact, your other friend mentioned 500lbs. and that is a stretch, a hell of a stretch. Your estimated 200 lbs. weight loss on this car "could" be done I'll give you that but it's gonna cost a ton since a guarantee of that weight loss is going to those CF wheels and would be possible only if you are starting with a base car.
Now let's remind all the people here with that stupid bet that you wanted to do with me, you stated that this GT500 CFTP car could beat a 19 ZR1 at VIR doing the Lightning lap and we were going to compare 1/4 mile times once the mags test the car and compare to ZR1 1/4 mile times but you wanted an owner to owner race on the dragstrip between the 2 cars. At the time I didn't have a ZR1 so you wanted me to trust "random" people to run a ZR1 on this race and put money on it. So what you stated above about me betting 2 random people to run this test is BS on your part. You wouldn't even guarantee that your GT500 would be stock when they run while the ZR1 would be stock...………...not that I'm worried about that a ZR1 should still kick your ass ALA the driver knows what he's doing in the Chevy and you don't go stupid outrageous in major mods and not disclose.
Well, guess what I did stay away for a bit since I was busy selling parts, selling cars, and BUYING a new ZR1!!!! I don't need someone else to drive one to kick your ass I'd be happy to put you and your overweight Shelby in your place. Your only chance in getting it done is the fact that I don't have bad knees so I went M7 but I would have no problem testing my launching and shifting skills against your finger flicking DCT any day of the week.
2019 ZR1 at a "heavy" 3700 lbs/755hp = 4.90lbs/hp < this # gets better if the weight is less and it usually is
2020 GT500 4225lbs/760hp = 5.56lbs/hp
ZR1 near 50/50 weight distribution
GT500 56/44 weight distribution
ZR1 0-100-0 9.9-10.0
GT500 0-100-0 10.6
Your car is outclassed and if you insist on it being different you're just fooling yourself.
