Yep, definitely underperforming with a deficit of close to 300 HP, no forced induction, no carbon fiber wheels and no triple R compound tires.

14 years later and they are still slower than the stock 06 z06. Damn that must be frustrating!

Don’t worry, once they get into private owners hands and in great air, they will break that. Show me a c6z that went 11.1 from a magazine test.

Probably not the first time it's been done. Just the first time (that I recall) engineers got caught doing it. LOL.

LOL, this likely started out as an innocent little joy ride. Then (within about 5 seconds or so) they glanced at each other and the race was on, just like that.

And let's be realists here.... if it was ANY two guys from this forum driving two new C8's, the results would have been the same...... race time...... ;)

C8 engineers busted for street racing the C8. Can't get better free advertising than that.

U.M.
Bingo. Besides this has been going on since Henry Ford raced Alexander Winton in 1901. Look up Woodward ave.

EDIT: Stop with the faggity GT500 vs C8 shit. You guys have like 8 threads going on about it elsewhere. There could be a post about milk and the same dickslapppers would turn into a GT500 vs C8 thread.
