not at my post...
Man, not even lol. It was the rain we had in April of that year. I was stuck on the feeder of beltway 8 north by 290 in traffic

my buddy lost a motor in his C6Z hitting high water in that...I remember the tax day floods, that shit was pretty damn bad too, very little warning unlike Harvey...we at least had some time to prepare.

Are both doors doing it? With fob and door controls? I assume you have checked fuses, relays. Both doors have a DCM.
ok so the issue is passenger side only. from the inside, when i press lock/unlock, nothing happens. The passenger window will roll down using the driver side button. Does that mean it's the module ? or would that be actuator? the FOB only opens the driver side.

sounds like it’s just the passenger side DCM, possibly actuator..try swapping relays and do the fuses look good?

checked out the clutch cylinder today, it appears new(er). The fluid was pretty black. I cycled it out 4 times w/ new fluid and drove it, and then drained it again. Seems to be doing a little better.

Had the same issue when I got mine. I think I changed it out daily for a week before everything felt pretty good.

need to check fuses, do you happen to know which one?

It’s been a few years since I had mine. There is passenger side kick panel in the footwell. I believe they are there, if not then under the hood..the window and lock relays are separate from what I recall. The fuse and relay numbering should be on the back of fuse box panel.

Congrats on the purchase! I loved and still miss my old TR FRC. I like my C6Z, but being in a C5 FRC/Z is like being in the cockpit of a fighter jet. I'd love to own another someday.

Please, for the love of God, remove the body molding on the fenders and doors. Those have always been a pet peeve of mine because they kill the clean, curved lines of the car.
Perfect color choice! Congratulations!

buy the tick master cylinder for the hydraulic clutch master...makes shifts much better!
Make sure you get the remote bleeder, too!

Random story alert.

I know a guy who has owned Mclarens, Ferraris, currently owns a GT3RS, standard GT3, ACR-E, a couple Teslas, 930 turbo and some other classics

Whats funny about that? Well, his absolute favorite car he owns that he takes literally everywhere is his mostly stock C5Z...

Good buy OP, the C5Z is in my one day list

took it out for another spin. second gear feels like a rocket launcher haha. Got some new oil, gonna do that tomorrow. looks like the tires are gonna cost $1k ....wolf ...
Are those run flats or just regular. And I feel you as it cost about $1400 to replace the 19" tires on the SS but that is slightly cheaper over my 2005 Vette with the run flat Eagle's as the rears was almost a grand and the front $800 to replace.

Man, now I wish I would have just kept my c5 z06 :( lol. Certain interior parts are hard to find for those cars though.
