My only guess is there must not be a ton available with the factory shut down. It seems there are a good amount of scat packs out there. Maybe thats part of the reason to work a better deal on one. But its a hit and miss.
About 850 20 Scat on Autotrader and 1450(7900 total 250) 7.3 4x4 20 F250 same site.

Problem was they wouldn't give you any incentives with those deals or the 3 months no payment. So it didnt make it that great of a deal.
GM and Dodge are giving both....

Ally SmartAuction is still around for dealers (franchised & independents) and wholesalers either to buy and sell.

Problem is that nothings moving right now, at least not like it was. I just dont think theres going to be much demand or demand like there was for some time for used and auctions. Most of America isnt interested in buying a car. Far from it.

Why would dealers and independent sales lots buy at auction if they cant move them?

I sincerely hope Im wrong for what its worth. Being a former Lexus dealer technician, I know that industry is REALLY hurting right now.

Emailed a sales rep from a different, local Ford dealer about a used '19 Expedition Plat they have. I asked "if they can work on the price" and I was told "We might have a couple hundred to work with you but not thousands".

FWIW, they are asking $56k, it has 23,xxx miles and is certified.

Within 500 miles of my zip the lowest left over, brand new '19 Expedition Plat is selling for $59.9k. They then jump up to $64k.

At this particular dealer, they have one leftover, brand new for $65k (MSRP $80k).

** ETA: I can't find the particular F150 I want within a couple hours of my zip so I'm looking at other makes/models in my used vehicle search. Nearest one I found is almost 6 hours away in Kentucky and I can't devote the time to hashing out a deal via email/phone, with a potential trade, while being dad/husband working midnight shift, lol. If I could find this truck local-ish I'd jump on it: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/807437056/overview/

I still find 150's overpriced. I found one I like, $56k msrp selling now for $45k. 19 5.0 XLT. The problem I have is I could probably find a tremor 250 for close to $50k. Plus the 21 150 is going to be all new. For myself to purchase an 150 like above it would need to be $40k with 0%...financing. To me its silly to spend more than that at this time.

I hear ya. I'm not interested in a SD but I get what you're saying. I tried to use the new '21 when I was negotiating on the '17 Limited a few weeks back. Dealer didn't care. So far I'm 0/2 on dealers wanting to work on used prices. Not looking to lop off $10k, but, want to get something fair. Especially, when you flat out tell me you're going to make $3k on my trade you should play ball on the vehicle I'm sitting in your chair to buy.

I think dealers will get destroyed on used cars. Lexus dealer has a gen 2 raptor for 59 and 18 150 work truck 3.3 for 25. Both are underwater both been there for 4 plus months. It’s only going to get worse.

if dealers want to any capital they should grab it now. They think a better offer is coming most will be shocked the best offer they got was yesterday.

There gonna sit on that for while. You can buy a brand new truck cheaper.

Keep looking, there are dealers out there willing to work a deal out. There getting to the point if it wasnt for service departments/parts dealers doors would be closing.

Curbside delivery, LOL, bought it sight unseen. Delivered from Apple Valley Lincoln to Sauk Rapids, MN. Trade and paperwork all done over the phone with just a couple sigs when they dropped it.

Are you using Cargurus for your search as well? I love their search interface and come across a lot of options. I've been searching every, to every-other day for a used Edge. Really want a Sport!

Well go with what deal worked out best. Didnt they bump up the HP on the 2.0 for that vehicle like 255hp and 285tq?

The 2.0 eco should be fine since it is paired with the 8 speed tranny. If it had been the old 6 speed, would have held out for a 2.7 eco.
