Great upgrade. The wheels and red calipers look great on your clean red GT500. One suggestion would be to not say its close enough. You’ve spent the money and did the work, so why not take that last step. In my opinion what that means is matching the rear caliper covers to the front color and use a matching Brembo decal. Just a small thing that really goes a long way. Many small things add up and make the difference in the best builds.
Looks great either way, really like those wheels!

I dont disagree but I spoke to one of the engineers of Brembo in Ca and to my knowledge they dont make a rear brembo for my car do to the solid axle

If you know of one I am all ears

If your refering to the OEM rear calipers painted red I opted for the cover

Sorry to hear about the mess up at LM. Hopefully its and easy fix and doesnt end up like AM.
LM actually didnt mess up, I did.

They sent all the right parts and there was misscommunication with them and me

Just wanted to set the record straight. LM helped me out alot and couldnt of done it without there tech support

wheels are CS-14's . Not the high end wheel from shelby but for the money I love them. 9.5x20 in the front and 11x20 in the rear handling my massive 315x30x20 Toyo R888R's

I am aware no rear Brembos exist. So if you’re going to run covers on the rear, why not paint them to match and get rid of the cover lettering for matching Brembo sticker

So paint the covers I have plain red and get a white brembo sticker ..... Didnt think of that .... u go to the top of the line

On a side note i forgot to hammer in the drivers side pins and they came out ... one was bent and it took a while to hammer it out and get it out so I could put it in a vise to straighten
So I also pulled the passenger side wheel off and though they were ok I hammered them in deeper as I did on the drivers side.

Im going to order new slider pins that hold the clip on asap and just replace both pins on the drivers side to err on the side of caution

Also this:
The touch up paint for the Brembo calipers is Testors 1103 Gloss Red.
Brembo stickers can be found on EBay.
Good luck.

Probably a dumb thought but I didn’t think the ‘19 bullitt calipers were any (or much) bigger than 13/14 fronts?

cant answer that question since I havent done a side by side comparison.

Though retired, I still do some work around the dealership and get employee pricing on parts. Had the 13-14 GT500 calipers ordered and paid for until I found out they were on national back order and tentative production date was mid June for one caliper and mid July for the other.

I wanted a red caliper to match the paint, so i did some more research and decided the LM bullett calipers was the way to go.

I think they're identical. They're just red, versus the gray color used on the other PP calipers.

so far the brakes are working well. Did a few 60 to 0 hard stops to imbed the brakes and i believe they are well embeded now

What I really love is the color. i did the same thing with my 17 GT350,which of course was red as well but with those non discript grey brembos. Ordered the R calipers and had them swapped out. Much better look and thats what i love in part for this build with my GT500, it goes so well with the car

The GT350 was by far the best mustang I ever owned. Great car

How well does the paint on these (or any gt500 brembo kits) stand up to brake fluid? Obviously best to wash with soap and water on the spot but time doesn’t always allow...

My master tech told me the same thing once he bled the brakes so i cleaned both sides off immediatly

Jesus Christ, back in my day this was a brake upgrade.
View attachment 1644254
OEMs have really stepped their game up and decided stopping is important.
Next level, look really great. Sure they will perform as well as they look.

Not be be that guy but.... legs under a rim and no tire. Hope that's not a HF jack stand.

When I use to drive the old GEN I SHO's, I did all the work on them from tune up to engine overhaul. Had a dedicated track SHO and used those exact calipers as an upgrade.

Most fun I ever had running NASA at HDPE 3

ordered from a dealer who had 2 sets (of the hardware kit) and also ran to the dealership who had a 19 bullitt on the lot and saw that the two outer pins which hold the pads were longer than what L&M provided. The pins Im using barely come out of the holes whereas the pins on the 19 bullitt extruded about a 1/4 of a inch out of the hole. I plan tomorrow to replace both sides with the new hardware kit that I just received. Had planned to only change the drivers side only which were damaged but now seeing how its suppose to look Im swapping out both sides

Looks great, keep us updated as you drive it more

Additional feedback:

I had some concern going with such a larger caliper that I might need a new/larger master cylinder due to a soft peddle

No such issue. Peddle is fine. One observation is the steering seems to be heavier. Hard to explain but it may be due to the additional weight of the rotor and caliper. My previous set up was a australian 5000 2 piece rotor which had a alum hat and was smaller over all.
