Nice Rubicon, Jeff. I really like the Sting Gray paint. Those wheels (and tires) set it off nicely. Purdy!!
That is AWESOME!! I am SOOOoooo jealous of those rust free WA/OR trucks! Coming from the rustbelt...we have 2010's that are already returning to the earth from oxidation...84' J10 AMC 360 Torqueflight 727

Is the engine stock...or did you crank that up a little too?
Cam/intake/shift kit would make for a fun little cruiser!
Do you know what gears it has?
My addition. Just installed the lift, wheels and rubber. Half of my control arms arrived yesterday, so as soon as the rest of my kit shows up I will take her down the dusty trail. I have had it for a year and a month, and I just rolled 30,000 miles on the odo.
2019 JLUR - Sting Gray - 2.0 Turbo
- Method 305 nv 17x8.5 Wheels
- Yokohama Geolander MT - 37-12.50
- RC 2.5 Spacer lift
- Control arms and shocks on the way
- Mishimoto Intercooler charge pipe is on the way as well.

Honestly, it hardly drives any differently. Still averaging 18+ mpg with the 2.0T. I changed my mind about changing gears. It doesn't need anything else. I can still burn out starting into a slight turn. Now, if you have the 3.6, or the 6 speed, I hesitate a bit.Perfection. Interested in hearing your thoughts on how it drives after the tires and lift. I'm trying to decide between a 2.5" lift and 35s or 37s but don't want to lose too much of the driveability. I do drive on the highway a bit, and my wife drives it occasionally, which has me leaning toward the 35s.

NICE! It should run pretty good!(did you recurve the distributor? I've found some good gains because the 70's-80's advance curves are so lame) Although, 35's and 2.73's...probably tame things down a bit..30 over, Edelbrock performer intake, Carb, Cam and lifter set. Ive been a member on ifsja for quite some time. Like all the old timers there. Didn't mess with the curve, bumped tue timing a bit for the new cam. But it runs great, off the line with 2.73 is a little slow, but, the freeway rpm is great withe the roll out of the 35s. 4.10 should give me the same gearing of the factory 2.73. The weather is decent here, but rains October through July!NICE! It should run pretty good!(did you recurve the distributor? 4.10's should make a decent difference!
Man...with your car friendly climate...I'd be really temped to do a A518 conversion after the 4.10's and start dailying it again! That truck is too cool for only occasional use! (Although...I haven't seen an easy AMC OD conversion...but when you're an AMC guy, you've got to be willing to fight through things! <UPDATE> My 727 to A518 Swap So Far...MORE Pics - International Full Size Jeep Association)
