no doubt that police as a whole ain’t perfect. God knows I have had my share of shitty interactions with the popo. With that said, I still rather live in an America with heavy police presence. The bad apples don’t trump the need for police work and the safety this provides.
I believe the recent chain of events perfectly illustrates my point.
I grew up in a tiny ass town of less than 300 and a neighboring town of 3000. The cops were CROOKS and even then it was hard for them to actually find a reason to pull locals over cause we didn’t play that BS and lodged complaints. The police department got cleaned out by the FBI while I still lived there for planting evidence, prostitution and a few other charges. Let me tell you the mofos were a lot less tough out that uniform
With cameras everywhere now it makes things so much harder for them to mess with people

Slightly off topic but speaking to the level of "brain washing" in people...my sister is a PA. She is 37, very intelligent and was once very level headed. It's unreal what she believes. The virus is so bad....yet no deaths in the hospital she works at. Says she knows nothing about hospitals getting paid for covid deaths. Discredited the first link I sent her. I do not even bother any more. What is worse is that her husband works in medical field as well and their daughter is 8 months younger than my daughter who is 4. They were very close. Now they rarely see each other. I have to basically convince her to get them together. They believe and trust the CDC 100 percent. It's scary.
But I'm seeing more and more people like this. So extremely hard headed and anti Trump and truth. Show them facts and they will not believe it. It's unbelievably scary the impact the media has on people. It's destroying our country.and destroying people's lives. So much hate violence and death will come out of this and these beliefs. Families are being divided when just a year or 2 ago they got a long. Crazy to think about

I read the reports and I believe toxicology.
It is hard to say at what point a person ODs and dies due to tolerance and such. However, it is a very fair assessment to say that he would be alive if he complied, he would be alive if he wasn’t on drugs at the time.
His drug use, overall health (article I read could have been a lie) is what ultimately did him in.

My interaction with law enforcement would never escalate to that point. That's my point you seem to be missing. Respect goes both ways, and simply following commands and being courteous as well. But I guess that's pretty difficult if you're doped up on narcotics and unable to comprehend directions.

I have had dealings with. Chicago,Cleveland ,Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Washington D.C. law enforcement and about 175 small town and Sheriff departments and none of them absolutely none of them went out of their way to pin any bogus charges on me or harass me in any way, shape, or form.
