Do all the trucks annoy anyone else

Has anyone else noticed that their neighborhoods seem to have turned into a shipping lane? I work from home sometimes and it seems like my dogs go off every hour due to some kind of truck coming through the neighborhood. Daily, I have 1 garbage, 1 recycling ever other week, 2 Amazon trucks, fedex, ups, usps regular mail, and usps shipping. I could live with it during the weekdays if it ended at 6 pm, but it is not uncommon for ups and fedex to come around 9 pm and some of these amazon deliveries come all the way into the middle of the night. What really annoys me is the everything but the garbage trucks now come on Saturday and Sunday. You can't ever get any peace and quiet during the weekend days anymore.

Move out of a neighborhood.

Or get rid of the dog.
I don't see how that is going to change anything as the same trucks will be coming by all the time and disturbing the peace no matter what the neighborhood. Worst part is that I live on a cul-de-sac so it has to worse in other places.

Move on some land outside of the city or something.

I live in a neighborhood that's about 30% completed. There are 50ish houses going in past my house so construction vehicles are passing constantly. It is what it is.

Stop ordering online and get your neighbours to do the same (good luck with that) train your dog, get better windows and insulation. Lots of things you can do to be proactive if the services are bothering you. There is no way you are going to stop them from delivering as long as people are ordering online.

Might want to move out and or get some land. Thats the price of convenience. I have realized that as I get older, the more I appreciate being isolated. Good luck!

It isn't just my dog that goes off it's also a couple of my neighbors dogs too. All I'm saying is there should be a cut off time and Sundays should definitely be a day off.

Buy all the delivery truck companies in the world, let them work Mon-Fri 9-5. They'll love you. You'll go broke.

You’re living on a public street, they have the same right to use it as you do. If you don’t like it, you are the one that needs to change. Move to the country or somewhere with a HOA that prohibits deliveries that suits your lifestyle. Get the neighbours to train their dogs. a barking dog is something that the city usually has ordinances to prevent, that maybe an option for you. I would be cautious about calling the city if your dog barks too.

I feel for ya man. Thankfully now that Amazon has finally figured out they get stuck in my driveway if they pull in and they started parking at the road I don’t ever even know they are there. I really don’t hear outside noises unless my door is open. Dog doesn’t bark and there are only maybe 10 houses on my road which is just over 4 miles long. Not much traffic. I wanted it that way when we bought our house. It’s quiet, especially at night

I now live in the middle of Maine.
After living in/near Seattle previously, the idea of traffic is laughable...

You live in a neighborhood. Deal with it or move.

I live on 30 acres in the woods at the end of a private gravel road. You know what I don’t see nonstop? Delivery trucks or traffic of any sort.
