Boots: what are you wearing?

I have a pair of Tecovas Cartwright's and love them although they just sit in my closet. I would like something in lizard/cayman/ostrich. The Tecovas seem like a great product for the money. Any other recommendations?

Tecova has a nile croc for almost $1500. The Prescott isn't bad as it doesn't come across as a cowboy boot IMO.

I am from MN and have relatives that were issued red wings from the railroad that they passed down to their grandchildren.

They are real around here, it is wild to see them turned into poser yuppie boots in the rest of the country.

I'm a fan of them. I don't like spending money on shoes, etc. They're reasonable, comfortable and seem to last.

Wear Ariat daily. They are by far the most rugged boot made. My two youngest sons both wear Ariats even to the beach in shorts. My mother in law painted a picture with my sons boots flung off next to a dune. Wore Frye going up but they got uncomfortable after the Chinese bought them. I have Dan Post Ostrich in both black and brown for date nights.

I've had to sell so many on ebay because I never get to wear them all. I've always been into footwear since the late 80's.

Wear Redwings for 12-15 hours daily and they’re more comfortable than my sneakers. Don’t like spending more than a few hundred on boots as I go through them at a rate of a pair a year.
