Glad I live in the US and not the UK.

How dare you rip on beans and toast. I had that for breakfast this morning lol

Yeah, the UK sucks. My family left after WW2 and never looked back. I'm first generation and my family has nothing, I mean absolutely nothing, good to say about the UK and they all dread going back for family gatherings. My family still living there said immigrants and socialism have absolutely trashed anything left that was good.

You get a pass cuz it’s in your blood

But lord brother put some grape / strawberry jelly on there and just try it out

You’ll then realize you’ve been eating food you punish children with your whole life :) hahahaha

The UK went full pussy years ago, as did the rest of Europe. I used to want to travel some over there during retirement. Now? Nope, they can have it.

One other thing about the UK.... You can't find a good steak ANYWHERE!! Even went to a large butcher shop and the cuts available were terrible looking! Little to no marbling at all. My son took us to a restaurant just outside of town for dinner one night and I made the mistake of ordering a 12oz sirloin. I thought the restaurant would close for the night before I finished chewing that steak! Like chewing on an old rubber tire.

No shit America is the greatest country… lol.

IT IS UNDER ATTACK. Everything that you love about it, is being perverted. Grain by grain, its being eroded away…

Every time you watch NFL, drink Coke, wear new Nikes, etc… You are supporting the machine that is eating her away!

RATM's "No Shelter" really summed it up for me when I was a kid.
Always got a kick out of how the song was written for the Godzilla soundtrack, but the only reference to the movie in the song is "Godzilla, pure Mother****in filler
To get your eyes off the real killer"

Reading some of the posts talking about people complaining about the U.S. and not knowing how good they have it here reminded me of this tune....

Remember... If you don't love it, leave it............

English breakfast is delicious, fish and chips (french fries) is a good eat, and HP sauce is tasty. A Scottish meat pie is pretty good as well.

My dad hated liver and he was the guy that would try anything once. So I've never tasted it and never plan on it.

I have limited time overseas. Stopping in port for a couple days doesn't give you a lot of time to see everything. However, what I've seen is enough to make me happy to not go back.

Although I did have a good time in Australia.

Every Wednesday night was liver night at my house growing up. I don't hate my son enough to carry on that tradition.

I would have gotten an @$$ beating every Wednesday night or went to bed hungry LMAO!!! I HATE liver. My wife loves it. Yuck!!!!

Your son should be thanking you every Wednesday night LOL.....

We did get some fish & chips while we were there... however it was from a takeout (take away in UK). As I stated previously none of the food places have enough room for sit down dining so you end up having to take the food home and eat it cold. If you want malt vinegar on your fish & chips at the take away they will squirt a few ounces on it before they wrap it up in paper. Of course by the time you get it home and unwrap it the vinegar has made the batter on the fish soggy, subsequently causing it to stick to the the paper and come off when unwrapping.

Did I happen to mention there is a "Sugar Tax" there? A bottle or can of Classic Coke is taxed heavily compared to say a Diet Coke of the same size. Cost is almost double if the drink has real sugar in it. This goes for all the carbonated beverages.

UK sucks.

Not real appetizing...
